I went to Welch's that day because A&B only had females and we wanted mixed. Also they were the next closest one from where I live. But I love Welch's too though.

Please don’t waste your money or time going here to buy ANY SEAFOOD,especially crabs because they will sell you hermit crabs,IVE NEVER EVER SEEN CRABS SO SMALL BEFORE UNTIL I WENT HERE, they definitely getting them out the duck pond at park circle.?

went there for a bag of 6 mixed crabs, meaning female and male. they gave me 6 very small female crabs. size isn’t really the problem but 6/6? lol that’s not cool. I noticed the man getting my crabs was turning them over one by one and sorting through the bunch. I figured it was for the mix I requested.When I called and mentioned it over the phone, after checking it. the man said “6 female small crabs? well that’s your mix right there” which is very rude considering ive been going there for years. but thanks. Granted, they have a sign up that says check your bag bc no refunds will be issued. never found them to be untrustworthy.

Wonderful selection of fresh fish, oysters, crabs & crab legs and lobsters & lobster tails! The best part was Jeanette's service - so friendly & helpful! She helped me select a couple of the breadings and gave me instructions on how to bread and fry the fish. I will definitely re-visit this store!

This establishment is clean and the seafood are well iced in bins for customer selections. I noticed that fish have been carefully pulled to exclude bad ones that have been crushed in commercial nets and only fresh ones are being sold. Not like other seafood stores in the local area, service starts when you enter the door at Welch's. Yes, "time is money" and I admire them for it.Some items are overpriced, but they are still competitive when you weigh in the service.
