Actually, I used them to feed a large group at our wedding back in September 21. It was outstanding. We ordered 10-12 pizzas. We thought we would go and sit in the restaurant and try it. Everything was great. We will go back.
Update.....when I used this place it was Basils, I have never tried the twisted penguin.
How recent have you guys ate here? The numbers not a working number and google shows it’s closed???
Good burgers, get the double smash burger. I didn’t enjoy the wings personally, the sauce wasn't for me. It’s very LOUD on college football Saturday’s and it’s an Ohio State bar.

Picked up pizza- it was just… bad honestly. Over cooked, basically no sauce, some of the toppings even tasted off like they’d been old

We had eaten at this restaurant many times over the years when it was called Basil's. We were so glad to see that with a new owner and new name that The Twisted Penguin had kept the same great laid back atmosphere and many of the same or similar food items on the menu. The wings were outstanding (especially the garlic parmesan and sweet heat) and the smash burger was delicious. We throughly enjoyed our food and our waitress was fantastic and attentive. We highly recommend this place. As you can see from one of the pictures, the atmosphere outside is very casual with twinkling lights and is just perfect with a steady breeze blowing. The waitress offered us a set of oversized Uno cards for us to play while we waited on our food. It was one of favorites places to eat on our trip. It was a perfect location for us from our condo as we walked about 1 block to it and then across the street to pick up some items at Boulineau's. Great food, great times, and great memories. Highly recommend! Be sure to ask them about their special which differ each night and their early bird menu.
Kid-friendliness: We ate outside. There was plenty of room at large outdoor tables for children to sit out and even run around and play if needed. I wish I had taken a picture of the "play" area for kids with toys for children or adults to play with.

Ate here for the first time,ordered a 14 inch cheese pizza with bacon,and an order of fries.Was not expecting much but the pizza was the best I had in a sports bar setting in the area Food was at my table in about 15 minutes,and my waitress was very attentive and always smiling.Checked on me several times for refills on my soda and in case I needed anything else Would definitely eat here again,Plenty of TV's on with different sports,2 baseball playoff games and NHL hockey
