The food here is wonderful. We eat here every time we are in Myrtle. Our location in NC closed- so we really miss the atmosphere. This is located on the beach we always sit outside. ribs and all sandwiches are delicious.

We found this place on the south end of town. Lots of parking in the lot but there is more parking across the street. Real nice location with the bar and restaurant overlooking the ocean. Friendly staff. Good happy hour prices.

Not nearly as good as I remember from years ago. On a good note our meals were served incredibly fast; however 1 was incorrect, my food was spilled when waiter was placing my food on our table but he never came back to clean it up nor bring napkins. Then nobody cleared our dishes once we were done. When we asked to see a dessert menu the waiter told us there wasn’t anything exciting on the menu and never brought one. We were obviously unable to order dessert… We felt we were being rushed out so they could seat another family as it was only 6Pm. Very disappointing. Perhaps they were short staffed? We were in and out in under an hour. So much for a relaxing romantic meal by the water

Had a very good birthday lunch server was good but the manager was having a bad day screaming at staff calling a waitress a liar at top his lungs food was good but a little disturbing to hear the screaming we go back hope it calms down should never get that upset in front of customers.

We wanted a light dinner after hours of travel and wanted to be near our hotel. This restaurant had numerous options for a full meal or lighter fare. The view of the ocean was a plus. The Hostess was very pleasant. My husband had a bowl of New England chowder which he loved. Thick and filling. We then shared a Prime rib dip au jus. The meat was so tender and, unlike many restaurants, the jus was not too salty. It was so good. The dessert my husband brought home for later was the perfect ending. Our waiter Kip was pleasant and attentive. When we left, we noted there was a wait line. Sign of a good establishment. We recommend this restaurant. Would return.

Damons has a great feel and the food is always been good. The service is good and over all it gets a high rating from us. I recommend the "Blooming Onion" and it is half price at Happy Hour! Prices are mid range.

Thank you, Damon's Grill for a Birthday Dinner. We were a party of four, with one of our group celebrating a birthday. The waitress was pleased to offer the complimentary birthday dinner and picking from the menu, was an additional treat. The food was terrific and we left with a birthday cupcake to go. It was an overall terrific dining experience.!!!

Decades ago, Damon's was our favorite outlet for ribs in Indiana. Over the years though, location after location (throughout the mid-north and central part of the State) closed down. It's been quite awhile since our last visit to this franchise. We arrived at 11:30 am, and just beat the rush (even mid-week, off-season this place fills up for lunch). Being a pleasant February day, we were seated outside; accompanied by a very nice ocean view. Our server, Merrill, was a joy; friendly, humorous, accommodating and attentive. Our first order was for a 1/2 onion loaf, something we had been jonesing about for years. Though we remember the onion strings being thinner "back-in-the-day"; the loaf was still quite tasty and a wonderful memory indulgence. We both ordered the luncheon ribs, with sides including baked potatoes, coleslaw and the excellent sweet potato casserole. My first bite of an end rib was a bit dry and tough; but thankfully that was an anomaly. The rest of both of our servings were tender and juicy; taking us back years and years to many a happy rib eating remembrance. Our only regret was that we stopped in so late in our Myrtle Beach stay. On our next visit, we will come sooner and more often. Thanks for the step-back-in-time.

I was a little worried about Damon’s based on some reviews given. To my surprise, it was quite good. No reservations allowed so we went at 4pm and still had a 30 minute wait. That is what they told us and the text message with a link would tell you how many groups were ahead of us. Damon’s is situated on the beach and has an outstanding view. Service was outstanding. Thanks Ashton. Most of us had ribs and they were great. Side salad was better than expected. Haven’t been here for 20 years but we would certainly come back and hopefully it will be within 20 years.

The portions were large and food quality very good; had chicken and ribs which came with sides. Key lime pie was great too.

We were visiting friends and family. Thee were 9 of us. We all enjoyed our dinners, ranging from chicken, fish and ribs. Service was excellent considering we had 1 waiter. All meals served hot, promptly and together. We will definitely go back.

Yearly beach trip we always like to eat at Damon's because it's oceanfront and in the past we've had good service and food. However this time was completely different. Where to start. The bread was absolutely too hard and tasteless. The house salad was okay. For the prices charged they should offer real butter for the baked potato instead of margarine. YUCK!!! My husband got the ribeye he wasn't impressed and I got the ribs. Boy was I disappointed, They were overcooked and practically burnt and all I tasted was the sauce which smothered the ribs. Not tender at all. A total let down and no longer our go to place at the beach anymore. For 70+ dollars we would have been better of at a fast food place. Diner BEWARE

So, they do give you a free dinner on your birthday; that's a plus! And a free cup cake which was good. Been to many Damon's before, this was better than some. Drinks: good, good pours Onion loaf: good but the orange sauce served with it had no flavor. The ranch dressing was good. Chicken tenders: very generous portion. Half rack ribs: very good size portion. Some ribs were dried had tough, dry pieces though. Prime rib: tender and flavorful but had a lot of fat. Half rack of ribs and crab cake: crab cake wasn't very good; mostly breading, didn't eat it all. The ribs same as above, some tough pieces. Salad: good French Onion soup: average Baked potatoes: good Experience was average.

This was our first time to Damon's Grill. We just stopped in because it was very convient to where we are staying. The food was very good. The waitress, Arrie, did an exceptional exceptional job.
