Rapone Original Brick Oven

I haven’t eaten here in a while. I really enjoyed the pizza the first time, however, this trip didn’t taste as good as the previous. We ordered Stromboli and a white pizza. The decent part was the piano player in the restaurant. It was pretty noisy and was difficult to hear any conversations at the table. The pizza and Stromboli dough was very bland and the sauce for the Stromboli tasted like it came from a can. As for the white pizza, it tasted like cheese and ricotta on plain white dough. Both were cooked as they should be. Unfortunately the result was a bland and disappointing meal. I won’t be returning there any time soon.

Just love this little place awesome pizza all the food so delicious 👍The pizza guys work so hard and have a perfect system of timing there perfect pies people should really appreciate what they do and watch them for a few minutes. All of the servers are knowledgeable and conscientious and happy to work there with the exception of ONE woman who has had an attitude which is not how anyone else acts in this special place and she is like that each time I have been.
And topping off this cozy dinner spot is man playing the piano there is so fantastic ❣️His name is Tony Rosales. This is such a great Italian restaurant we love going there every time we come up from Charleston. Thank you all at Rapone for your consistently wonderful food and service ❣️

Pretty good food with lovely, Italian atmosphere. Pizzas are only one size which are about the size of a medium elsewhere.

Only had to wait 15 minutes on Friday night for a table which was nice. Salads were fairly small, the cheesy garlic bread appetizer was small but good. My dinner mates and I had chicken parmigiana, eggplant parmigiana, chicken fettuccine and shrimp fettuccine. Eggplant parm was very good per my friend, chicken parmigiana was ok (a bit dry), no the fettuccine dishes were lacking in the meat (which we paid more for). 5 cubes of chicken or 5 pieces of shrimp. Overall, it was a solid 3.5. Nothing more.

Amazing! Everything about it was great! Service, food, piano player...all were top notch! Our waitress (Lauren..I believe...I'm horrible with names) was great! The calamari was the best I've had in a long time! We had our meals there and ordered a pizza to go and it was fabulous...and we're from NY so thats saying something lol 😆 We will definitely be back...maybe even tonight since its our last night lol

The atmosphere was wonderful, especially the pianist. It was so cold inside though. Teeth were chattering as we were eating. We all gor pizza and they were amazing! Service was very good as well

Three of four of us liked our meals. We would return there if we had remembered the name of it so I'm doing this review so I don't forget again. Lol.

Look no further!!!!! Hands down the best pizza we have ever eaten. We owned a pizza takeout restaurant, and make it a point to try new pizza everywhere we travel. So take our advice and visit Rapone!!!

Not that I'm an expert but it looked like a good Italian restaurant. Someone from the kitchen was letting kids toss some pizza dough. The kids cheese pizza was really pretty good. My wife got a seafood pasta that was pretty good. I would definitely try to eat there again if I was staying longer.

Delicious authentic Italian food, would highly recommend any of the pizzas, vodka pasta, Caesar salads, and bruschetta!!

Being from Brooklyn all my life, I am extremely impressed with the pizza here, they easily beat some of my favorite spots which doesn't happen often. The service was excellent, It's a casual place which was good since I was wearing shorts. I was also very impressed with the lasagna which I shared. Even when I head back to NY I'll be dreaming about this place! They have dessert options but I ate so much I had no space for it, maybe next time.
