This is the perfect stop after the beach, on a hot day, in need of a treat or lunch…it’s an all around perfect place to stop! Their bowls are intentionally the perfect amount of base and topping…IYKYK! So many acai bowl places only offer one size, our whole group commented how great it was to have 3 sizes to choose from! Honestly, it’s a great place, we stopped here multiple times in our week-long trip to North Myrtle.

Tried this place on vacation and it was delicious! I loved the coconut and ube bases. And we came with a huge group and they made our bowls so quickly and efficiently! They rock! A must try in NMB.

My family loves to visit here when we come down to Myrtle, everything is so delicious, we come more than once during our trip every time! My only issue is that the last time we were there, two girls who looked like teenagers walked in in nothing but tiny bikinis. I understand that we're on the beach, but it was very jarring to be in there with my family, and other people's families with little ones, and have people in not just bathing suits, but inappropriate bathing suits to wear around kids and families maybe? I just wish there was a no shoes, no shirt kind of policy to keep it family friendly! Thank you!

I absolutely highly recommend Shaka-Laka, not just for the DELICIOUS PERFECT treat but for the AMAZING owners, Brooke and Aaron, WONDERFUL, KIND and FANTASTIC. I go to the one in Ocean Isle Beach.

So many different bass options! Coconut is by far my favorite but regular açaí is amazing! Decent priced and a friendly environment. It’s the perfect snack in the summer time especially because of the good health benefits! I notice in the summer they are busy but the wait is never terrible! There’s not a lot of sewing inside so we always get it to go but that’s okay because you’re so close to the beach it’s the perfect snack for eating on the beach!
