This spot came highly recommend. It was easy to get to and we had zero wait at peak breakfast time . Huge menu and massive omelets . I have never seen a 4 egg omelet. The pancakes were good and the biscuit and breakfast sandwich was amazing. If you're in the area make Southern Sunrise a must stop
I loved the family atmosphere and amazing service. The entire breakfast was great, the waiter was entertaining and the food was excellent.

The food was very filling and delicious and our server was very friendly. The atmosphere around us made us feel like home. Those were the best pancakes I had ever had!😋😋❤
After eating here, you can tell the food is hit or miss. The pancakes and french toast were fine. The grits had a weird after taste to them (usually my favorite part of breakfast) and everything else was so-so. The macaroni and cheese and the sweet tea were phenomenal. Overall we were disappointed in the food.

Waited 10 minutes to get drink order. After order was placed it took 50 minutes to get our food while a group that came in 15 after us with a similar number of people received their food 25 before us. Waitress was less than friendly while we were waiting basically avoiding us. Food was decent.
