Brought oxtail and curry chicken..
Food good but not good on portion. I didn't look at my order when I got home I was very disappointed. It was probably enough to feed my 2 year old. For the prices they charge, should given a little more. They used to give good portions but when the older woman is there, she's very stingy. Owner is ok. Hes pretty good with the portions. I dont plan to go back anytime soon. They are high and I dont mind paying for it but not for 3 small pieces of oxtails...

I recently ordered a jerk chicken plate, an additional side of jerk chicken, and a Grace Ginger Pineapple drink, spending approximately $40 in total.

One positive aspect of my visit was the speed of service. My food was ready in about 10 minutes, which was greatly appreciated. When I arrived, I asked about chicken patties, but unfortunately they were sold out. Since I was very hungry, I decided to dine in.

Upon sitting down, I noticed that my table had not been properly cleaned. There were still patty crumbs left behind from the previous customer, which was not a great first impression.

When I opened my food tray, I was disappointed by the portion sizes, especially considering the price. The cabbage (or mixed vegetables) serving was extremely small and lacked seasoning. The rice and peas portion was also very small—so much so that it felt disproportionately sized compared to the cost of the meal.

The Grace Ginger Pineapple drink was cold, refreshing, and enjoyable. However, I was surprised to see it priced at $5.00, which seemed quite expensive for a bottled beverage.

The jerk chicken itself was flavorful and well-cooked, but it was exceptionally spicy. I consider myself someone who regularly eats jerk chicken, and the additional side was intended for my daughter, who also enjoys spicy Jamaican food. Even so, the heat level was overwhelming and left both of us struggling to enjoy it. In addition, the rice and peas had jerk sauce mixed in, which made the entire meal even spicier.

On a positive note, the staff member who assisted me was very friendly and accommodating. He kindly provided some curry gravy for my rice and peas, which helped balance out the spice level and made the dish more enjoyable.

Overall, the food showed promise, particularly the jerk chicken and the friendly customer service. However, I would encourage management to consider increasing portion sizes to better reflect menu prices, paying closer attention to dining room cleanliness, and offering different spice levels for the jerk chicken so customers can choose a heat level that suits their preferences. This version keeps your key points while presenting them in a professional, balanced, and credible manner.

This is the best Jamaican food in Myrtle beach. It’s family owned, very clean, and the people are super sweet. The food is delicious and good portion sizes. 11/10

My husband and I visited here on Sunday, June 14, 2026 from out of town. The food was very interesting, plenty of spices, well-seasoned, and bringing you back for more! We tried another Jamaican restaurant that was close by the next day because at the time, Sunday Best Jamaican Cuisine was closed. This other restaurant was clean, offered friendly service, and more servings of ox tails and sides. HOWEVER, this other restaurant did not come close to the authentic taste of Sunday Best Jamaican Cuisine. Lord willing we hope to return again soon. Please do not alter that famous recipe of yours!

My husband loves the food and he comes here everytime we're in town but he said the price is high which is the normal price but the cut down on how much food is on the plate makes the price not woth it.

This place should be much more than 4 ⭐️ average! The jerk chicken was tender and perfectly seasoned, with flavorful spices making it β€œspicy” instead of hot-sauce hot. The curry chicken was also good, and the plantains and rice balanced the plates. Try it!

Jerk chicken was delicious! Rice was good but sweet. Cabbage was BUSY, had too many ingredients: green peas, corn and carrots- (I believe the frozen bag of mixed vegetables). The carrots were cubed and shredded.. Service was superior!

We were in the area for our gateway weekend from Tampa, Fl and last night we were everywhere looking for a good steak house for dinner and saw Sunday Best, man are we glad that we stopped, the food is amazing, we had the curry goat and 2 chicken soup for my husband since he wasn't feeling too well. Today on the way to the airport we stopped for more and got the chance to meet the Chef and wife, super nice people, great personality. DELICIOUS!!! Don't hesitate to go, you won't regret it. Thanks guys.

My family and I stopped here for carry-out just before leaving Myrtle Beach the other day. We got our food to go and made the mistake of not looking at the food before leaving. The portion sizes were awful at best. The plates were full of rice and beans with a small scoop of Mac and cheese (that we paid extra for). There was barely any meat on any of the plates. We got the following entrees: brown stew chicken, oxtail, curry oxtail, curry chicken, and vegetable, cocoa bread, and a beef patty. All of the plates (besides the veggie plate) were lacking in meat portions. We spent over $110 for basically 2 pounds of rice and beans and undercooked oxtail! YES VERY UNDERCOOKED!!!! Also, the brown stew chicken gave our daughter diarrhea. We called the restaurant and only asked them to refund the undercooked oxtail entrΓ©e and they refused. They said they could give us a new meal. We explained that we live a little over 3 hours away in NC. They still refused to refund 1 meal. Poor customer service and terrible food and definitely not worth the price. I will never eat here again!!!!
