Awful!
Jerk chicken should not taste like Sugar in it. NEVER AGAIN… FIRST AND LAST!!!!
We do not recommend this place…Well we (my wife and I) went in to this location last week. What a disappointment. We were informed that Jerk Chicken had two or three large pieces thigh, leg and something else. The curry chicken had 6 pieces. So we went with the curry chicken. We were given 6 very small nuggets meal cost $40. Major disappointment the beef patty had a very small amount of beef in it. We waste our money not a good experience at all. The drinks alone cost $8.00 for a small bottle. We have had much better for less. Do not go here.

Best jerk chicken I’ve had in a while. The rice had the authentic coconut flavor. The chicken had the right level of spiciness. Can’t go wrong pairing the meal with an authentic ginger beer.

WARNING WARNING WARNING!
This is a terrible place to eat. They charge fine dining prices for subpar experience, food and presentation. First and foremost, you can expect $25 to $35 per person for an entree. They serve it up in a STYROFOAM "To Go" portion pack for their dine in patrons along with a styrofoam cup for your drink. At the prices they charge, this is unacceptable. Open up your container and you will be disappointed to see that the majority of your "to go" tray will be overcooked, over seasoned rice. Then to the back of the tray you will get get a small portion of meat (Whether it be chicken or oxtail). This is off putting at the price point they command. They also serve overcooked cabbage that tastes as if it has been sitting for several days. Definitely not fresh! All in our party had same experience. There were a lot of loose bones in the meat, rice and cabbage. The chicken was over cooked and over seasoned, the oxtails were like rubber and barely any meat on them. Mind you, they charge a premium for these entree's. The seasoning was so bad that we could not even attempt to enjoy the food. We tried talking to the staff members but they did not care about the problem. They wanted to tell us this is what Jamaican food is about. I beg to differ on that. With just a few bites taken, we called it a loss and dumped the remainder in the trash. There are no refunds here, no correcting the problem, no resolution. THIS IS NOT JAMAICAN FOOD. having visited Jamaica dozens of times and experienced the real thing, this restaurant is complete trash. Whoever is cooking needs to find another profession because they haven't a clue how to cook rice, chicken or oxtails. We left and found a better experience elsewhere. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY AT SUNDAY BEST JAMAICAN CUISINE!!!

Have been to this restaurant numerous times and it was very good those times. This time was incredibly different. The food was overseasoned. The curry chicken was so spicy, salty and way too much curry that it couldn't even be consumed. The jerk chicken had so much inclusion of scotch bonnet pepper that it was too hot to even enjoy. It too was also too salty to even reasonably consume. Furthermore, in all the food we ordered in my group, there was a lot of chicken bone bits all in the food including the rice. The rice was too salty and laden with curry and all the spices used on the meat that it too was inedible. Sadly, the people I'm my group were jamaican and were insulted to even be taken to this restaurant. The indicated this was not authentic Jamaican food and that it was better suited for the trash. I spoke with staff there about the issues and they only wanted to talk about how the food was prepared and that Jamaican food is spicy. No real resolution to the complaint or even an offer of refund or event partial refund. This was a complete waste of money and time. We threw all of our food away with only a handful of bites taken out of them. If they continue on this path, this place will have to shut down. Terrible food, terrible experience and customer service was nothing to write home about.
Where do I even Start? This is the worst Jamaican Restaurant I have ever been to. The food is absolutely terrible. They give you a boatload of rice and small portions of meat. The food isn't even good flavor. It's overpowered by spices. I assume there's too much scotch bonnet pepper in the spices they use. They prices are sky high for what they offer. It is somewhat of a sit down restaurant but it's still a fast food fare. They could at least make it feel a little better by not serving your meal in foam trays. If someone was taking food out of the place, it might be ok but for dining in, it really makes it feel super cheap. This doesn't make it any better given the fact that the food is bad. The lady working the counter got an attitude with me when I said their food was not good. They offered to make some more but I declined as I didn't want my food tampered with or spit in. Will never go back!

Our 1st time here. There definitely will be a wait to get your food, but I expected that so it wasn't a big deal. The food was very good and flavorful. I know Jamaican food is often spicy....and I can do spicy...but this food was HOT! The cabbage was 10x hotter than the oxtails. The food was really good so I still tried to eat it, but I could only eat 1 oxtail and some rice because it was just waaaay too hot for me.

We used to stop there every time we came to SC. The food has always been good, but this time, the cabbage was too sweet and all shredded up with veggies. The ox tails looked a little strange, and they were sweet as well. The curry chicken was watery but flavorful.
