The grilled chicken is so orange with no flavor. The guac was not properly mashed & mixed & also had no flavor. The nachos had very little queso but was weighed down by flavorless beans, shredded cheese & the tasteless chicken making the nachos soggy. Other than the nasty food, our server was awesome.

Some of the most amazing tacos I have had i am big about fish tacos and theirs hit the spot. And our server was amazing he talk to use and suggested amazing food. His name is julio and he did an amazing job. Thank you.

Great tacos and food! Save your money and don’t buy the drinks. All the Margs tasted the same and were not worth the price they are. Otherwise fun atmosphere in a beautiful location with shops. A little loud for socializing but still a good spot for enjoying the food!

Placed a takeout order, were told $131 over the phone. We weren’t told there was a “takeout packaging” fee that is 2% of our order total nor a 3% surcharge for using a credit card. I just feel that should be communicated. Then we got home and were missing the “complimentary” chips and salsa we specifically asked about, we were told they would include that as it comes with every order but then we didn’t get it. Also gave no napkins, no utensils, just seemed to stuff the food in the bag. I understand mistakes happen, but when ordering we specifically said we wanted chips and salsa, and were even willing to pay for it.
We paid $136 for our order, so pretty disappointing. We eat here often as locals, but will definitely be reconsidering for future visits.

The two people singing at on Friday 6/26 ruined this restaurant for me. They were disruptive and entirely too loud for the section we were seated in, but strangely not really too loud in other sections.

Grason was hands down one of the best servers we’ve had! He went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed, was incredibly friendly and attentive, and made our dining experience even more enjoyable. His positive attitude and excellent service really stood out.

The food at Taco Mundo was fresh, flavorful, and came out quickly. Combined with the fun atmosphere and Grason’s outstanding service, it made for an all-around great experience. We’ll definitely be back, and we hope to have Grason as our server again!

Just a mediocre Mexican restaurant. The atmosphere was gorgeous and the best part to my experience. Our server was not very attentive, and I never got a refill on my tea. Maybe they were having an off night, or maybe ordering Surf and Turf Tacos wasn't a great idea. Don't think I'll be taking my family for a trip back. Definitely not work the $140 plus a $20 tip which I felt pressured to give, since the waitress hungover my shoulder and that was the amount that was highlighted on her handheld device. I really felt like giving her 5%, that you see I did give her more than I felt I should have. Just not a great experience

This is like taco bell meets your favorite Mexican restaurant. Our server was amazing helping out for our first time there.

A Must‑Visit at Barefoot Landing — Taco Mundo Delivered Big Time

We had an amazing experience at Taco Mundo in Barefoot Landing. The waterviews alone are worth the trip — we even had a perfect view of a massive dark‑grey stealth yacht with tinted windows. Not something you see every day while enjoying dinner.

Our waitress, Colleen, was absolutely magnificent. Friendly, attentive, and she checked on us regularly without ever hovering. Service was fast, the atmosphere was beautiful, and the whole place has a fun, inviting vibe. Honestly, the overall experience it’s a step up from San Jose back home.

I ordered the Mexican Caesar Salad with a large frozen lime margarita — both were so tasty and refreshing. My spouse had the Queso Rice Bowl with chicken, and those bowls are deep. The serving size is tremendous and the flavors were spot‑on. Our dishes looked just as good as they tasted — fresh, colorful, and packed with flavor.

Between the great food, the gorgeous views, and Colleen’s top‑notch service, we were impressed from start to finish. We’ll definitely be back.

We love Taco Mundo! They have great food and atmosphere, they are ALWAYS busy so sometimes the service is a tad slow, but they are always friendly, so patience make it worth it!
