The breakfast is always phenomenal, so we stopped in to try lunch. It was mediocre. The hamburger steak was cold, and dry, and lacked seasoning. My kids and hubby enjoyed their cheeseburgers though. The fries were the highlight. They were delicious!
Based on the reviews I had high hopes for this visit. I was honestly disappointed in the food however the restaurant was filled with what seemed to be an extremely loyal customer base. So it must just be me. Try it for yourselves.

The Shack always has great food and service. Homemade southern comfort food. If you leave here hungry it's your own fault. Never had a bad scrap of of food here ever. The prices are cheap too. It's a lot like eating at Grandma's house.
