The events at Crooked Hammock Brewery are some of the best attractions at Barefoot Landing. The eclectic selection of things to do in the backyard at this brewery in North Myrtle and my fav was stop at Tortuga Island, their waterfront gazebo bar.
The bar has seating for 26 and room for 84. You’ll have access to the full restaurant and food menu on the island.
We got the table near by water, though the wife was insisting on sitting at the bar as it had swing swing-style sitting arrangement.

*Beach Escape *Myrtle Peach *Wide-eyed can of beer *Lemonade
In food
*Smashed Avocado Dip: The taste was blunt though, we sent it back but they just came up with salt and some more dip to fix it. Anyway, we were here for the drink so did not pay much attention.
*Traditional wings: it's always good, it's a matter of sauces though and hey take a hint from BWW. You gave one thin slice of carrot and celery. Bad ape!

My husband and I live in the barefoot community and Tortuga Island is where we go all the time for a date or just for an afternoon drink. Gabby and Sean always treat us like family. When we bring our pup Goose, they always greet him with a pitcher to fill his big bowl! We absolutely love coming down there and when we know they are there, we know we are taken care of! Johnny always has great conversations with us about the sours (beer) that we drink. You have to go when they have loaded fries! They are Devine! Great vibes, great music, great bartenders ?❤️

Found this by accident while visiting my ever-vexed mother for my 30th birthday she somehow managed to dampen all 3 days we were there. We sat on the swings, with great views of the waterfront, allowing me to sequester myself with my husband and not have to face or talk to my mother all night and finally enjoy many drinks in peace. Everyone found a cocktail on the menu that they enjoyed, bartenders were fun and personable, and there were also bar stools with a seat back if you got tired of swinging around on the swing chairs. Definitely will come back again if stuck with mother's antics all day!
Kid-friendliness: Great for parents with age 7-10 kids to keep them distracted on the bar swings while parents take a well-deserved break. Bit high off the floor so wouldn't be safe for younger kids.

We loved Lauren D!! My 4 friends and I were in town from different areas, and she made our experience so amazing and special!! She really made us feel at home and cared for, even though she had a full bar of customers. Lauren is truly a master of her craft and we will definitely be back!!
