Great food and great service! Food was so tempting I forgot to take a picture before eating. I ordered the Uncle Hershel's special with 2 eggs over easy, stone ground grits, and 2 biscuits with sausage gravy and for the side I upgraded to buttermilk pancakes. So yummy 😋

I really don't know why I went back to this awful place. This time the service was halfway decent, but the food was truly dreadful. It's miserable how I wasted my money on a place that once showed me quality; now it's just a barrel... trash ba...

Came into cracker barrel and I really wanted it to be a good experience and was looking forward to it. Was seated promptly but waited 10 minutes to be waited on. During that time, the customer sitting next to me complained to the waiter how long his food took and I thought to myself hmm. Received our dinner rolls which were good but from there it went downhill. After about another 10 minutes after placing our order, our waiter came over to inform us they were out of mashed potatoes, The turkey we had ordered, and casserole dish was out as well. So we switched to baked potato, and then after another five to 10 minutes he walked over to inform us they were out of those as well. While waiting, I watched two other tables of guests just get up and leave. I watched as there were numerous tables in need of cleaning embossing. The fireplace at smoldering smoke coming out of it and no fire...The on duty manager came out of the kitchen a few times just to walk around and then walk back in. After about a half hour, And I'm not exaggerating, We decided to leave ourselves... Our waiter even said he could not blame us for doing so... To have such slow service, unkept dining room, and be out of key items in the kitchen during rush dinner hour I thought to be unacceptable. I don't normally complain, but I wanted to have a word with the general manager who had already left for the evening to try and have words of constructive criticism. If this were my business I could never leave when my restaurant was in such disarray. I did speak with a the manager briefly, was polite by saying sorry as well as the hostess doing the same. At that point it was not about me and more about the restaurant itself I really wanted it to work for us that evening! We did leave our young waiter a tip for his trouble, but sorry cracker barrel, you folks can do better!

The things I enjoyed to eat we’re very good. Sometimes the place is a little too busy so you might wanna plan early to go. You get better service when you go early because the waiters and waitresses don’t seem to be too busy to come back and see if you need anything else and your weight won’t be so long of course. I’ve always enjoyed that little restaurant if you’d like a country setting it’s great. Their store is adorable a great place for the tourists. The parking is great and the bathrooms are very clean. I thank them all for their service and hospitality every time.

All meals were delicious (salads, biscuits & more)! Hot chocolate needs some love, it taste as if it's just brown water😬😣😔 BUT, of course, yes we payed for it (maybe next month it'll be better)
