On a positive, the bread that came out was delicious. Small little pockets that were airy and light. Soup was also tasty! For an entre I had the special which was veal marsala which came out as a stew swimming in an an over peppered and under flavored sauce. The veal was not tender at all but was driven on the Chisum trail all the way from Kansas. The pasta that was supposed to come with the dish never arrived but I tried some of my date's and it was basically Barella from Publix. The Chianti was dull for $13 and the Prosecco was like a bag wine. It was over priced if the meal and drinks were good but they were not. I would not recommend this new version of this restaurant.

Basil and Bourbon food is not worth the money. Got chicken parm and it was frozen chicken patties. Food came out in 5 mins, which is not a good sign. Very over priced. Manacotti was very small portion and tasted not fresh made, but again frozen. Don't recommend for Italian cravings.

I stop here when i get my motorbike serviced. They do the best Bacon Ciabatta & cappuccino I have ever had, served by friendly guys.
Came here with my husband after Helene hit Augusta really hard and we came down to Savannah until the power was restored. Delicious food and great hospitality made us forget the chaos after the hurricane. The owner is super nice. Highly recommend if you want Italian food while visiting the area - great food for both omnivores (me) and vegetarians (my husband).

We went here a while ago and had an amazing time. Wonderful atmosphere, the staff were friendly and accommodating of my vegetarian diet. They made our night special after a tough week with Hurricane Helene, and we loved the food!

Food is really delicious but the wait staff was short handed. They were really nice though. I give them credit they were doing the best they could. The team was working well and everyone there even the kitchen staff pitched in to get the job done.just an off night.

I placed an online order on Sunday 7/20/25, website said “open”, paid in full, and went to the restaurant to pick it up—only to find the place was closed. No notice, nothing. I gave them the benefit of the doubt and returned during business hours to ask for a refund. Their response? “We can’t help you.”
So now I’m out the money and the food.
This isn’t just poor service—it’s unacceptable. If you can’t fulfill online orders or issue refunds when mistakes happen, you shouldn’t be accepting online payments in the first place. I’ve tried to handle this reasonably, but since I’ve gotten nowhere, I’ll keep posting reviews.
We made reservations on Wednesday for the following night. When we arrived on Thursday evening, they were closed. No sign on the door or anything just dark inside.
I went to Nonna Rosa with a friend for lunch to celebrate a birthday and graduation. The staff are super friendly and the food is phenomenal. I had gnocchi with tomato sauce and mozzarella and it was delicious. My friend had rigatoni with vodka sauce. Her food was pretty tasty as well. Staff were very accommodating. Not sure why there are so many bad reviews. This place is amazing. I will be back.

I was heading into Bluffton and traffic caused an hour plus delay to my hotel. I decided to pull over and wait it out. Torn between the Mexican restaurant and Nonna Rosa. I like to sit at the bar because because it's just me and the bar at the Mexican restaurant was closed. I am so glad because this place is a gem. Teresa was a fabulous bartender and had such great conversation and suggestions. The food is made to order so I was able to spice my meal up a notch. I had the chicken caccatori and it was delicious. I asked her to surprise me with a to go desert and later on I had the BEST tiramisu I have ever had. So light and fluffy. I can't begin to describe how good it was. I am here for the week and although I like to try different places, I am tempted to go back! If your in town, give them a try.

FIVE STARS for Tish and Ms Theresa, the most incredible waitstaff I’ve ever experienced. My dad loves Nonna Rosa for their consistently delicious and well priced dishes, so I joined him with my 2 little ones. And right on time, my toddler threw the most spectacular meltdown. But Tish and Ms Theresa pulled out all the stops to help make things comfortable for everyone. I cannot thank them enough for their patience and kindness, and the food was DELICIOUS - so good it fixed the meltdown!
Best Mozzarella sticks i ever had. The rigatoni ala vodka was thick and creamy and they didn't skimp on the pancetta.owner came up to us and introduced himself and treated us like family.only regret is we didn't have any left overs because we ate it all lol
My dad and I visited this evening and had amazing service from Theresa. The chef, Pepe (also the owner I think) did a great job with handling our gluten allergies. Everything turned out great and we will be back!
Waited 15 mins to be seated with no one else in line and lots of empty tables. Apps came and no drinks. Out of multiple menu items. One wait staff for entire place. Food sub par.
Our reservation was at 6:00 and only 2 other families were there. Our waiter only checked on us once, never asked us if we wanted drinks, and didn’t even bring the bill. The food was awful!! The chicken was cardboard, and all of our plates were drowning in sauce.
