When we walked in we were immediately met with the smell of bathroom, something like old water/mildew. Once we sat down, it took about 20mins for someone to come take our order. At the end of giving our order our server just walked away, with no response/confirmation on what we got. The entire time the service was slow; we needed to remind our server of items that we ordered multiple times. The food was okay. Over all 3 stars.
New management is definitely top tier!!!

Applebee's Grill + Bar offers great management and food, making it a popular choice for celebrations. The service during lunch hours is efficient, but it might be slower during dinner time. The bar drinks are usually good, but some recent experiences found them overly sweet. Despite a recent visit with overly sweet drinks, the bartender provided excellent service. The restaurant features a friendly atmosphere and a variety of tasty options. Popular dishes include the four cheese macaroni with honey chicken tenders, fried fish, shrimp, and garlic mashed potatoes, which many customers find delicious. The onion rings appetizer is often praised as fresh, crispy, and amazing. However, some guests have experienced issues such as long wait times, possibly due to being understaffed, and orders not meeting expectations—like a plain steak instead of bourbon st steak, or shredded cheese on broccoli instead of cheese sauce. Food quality has been inconsistent, with some items like the French onion soup being warm but not hot enough, and the rice sometimes dry and lacking flavor. The lime chicken tends to be juicy, but the rice can be flavorless. Chicken tenders are generally satisfactory, though service in addressing complaints can sometimes fall short. Recent reviews suggest a decline in overall quality, leading customers to consider traveling further for a better dining experience. Despite these issues, many still enjoy the atmosphere and look forward to returning.
