For what they offer, it was pretty good. The fried chicken and baked beans was really good and the koolaid. The macaroni and cheese lacked flavor and tasted like it was made with cheap ingredients. The reason for the low star rating is because I witnessed one of the owners stick his bare hand and grabbed a hush puppy and ate it directly off the buffet. No glove or tongs were used to grab the hush puppy, just his bare hand. That was pretty nasty. I’m glad we had gotten our food before he did that.

Amazing! I spent my summers as kid in Orangeburg. I’m originally from North Carolina. It was in Orangeburg, where I’ve learned about South Carolina’s mustard based BBQ. There is absolutely hands-down nothing better than Dukes BBQ on Whitman. No one can re-create what this restaurant does. From their quarts of sweet tea (the sweetest in the South) to the best BBQ in the Carolinas. Dukes on Whitman is the REAL deal.

Went for the first time on 2/9/24. The food was good, especially the fried chicken. I was not a fan of their hash, I thought it was lacking in flavor and I didn't like the taste of ketchup in it. This is probably because i grew up eating hash in the upstate of SC which is completely different. I would definitely go back, just wouldn't get the hash or maybe I'd try it again and add some pulled pork and bbq sauce to change it up a little.

Excellent buffet or by the plate BBQ in Orangeburg! BBQ chicken was my favorite,! Also enjoyed pulled pork, rice and hash, fried chicken, Mac and cheese, slaw, green beans, baked beans, hushpuppies, pork rinds. Least favorite was baked beans. Hushpuppies are on the sweet side, but overall a great meal.If you’re coming down I-26 it’s worth the detour!
That was absolutely the best freshest seasoned out the fresh grease fried chicken I've had in a very long time . Everything was great I/we really enjoyed ourselves I was so full ?
