My husband and I came to SC from Augusta during Hurricane Helena in search of hot food. My goodness were we disappointed. We approached the building which smelled of old grease and dust. Our food was warmed in dirty cambros with oil as “ gravy”. My rice was mushy and stuck together like a mothball with no seasoning or texture. My Turkey leg was so dry I choked midway and attempted to wash it down with mediocre sugar water labeled as “ sweet tea”. The macaroni was sweet and funky tasting with hard, dried up cabbage to match. The service was fair but intrusive and invasive side eyeing my husband and I for paying separate. 1/10 for me

My family and I came here from Augusta due to the hurricane. We saw that this place had a good review. So we tried it. What a bad choice we made. I ordered oxtails mac & cheese, with yams. Why was my oxtails and yams warmed up in the microwave ?. Then the so called gravy on my rice was straight grease. Like what. HELL
