We were excited and expected a fantastic breakfast. We were very disappointed. Husband ordered French toast and bacon. The bacon was beyond crisp. He asked for some not so crisp, our waitress, who was nice, went and asked the kitchen, apparently it's all pre-made for the day and all is crisp. She gave him some sausages which also were over done. I had crepes , which were ok, but not hot. The place inside is real adorable but food was not the best

This wasn't our best breakfast experience. The food was overcooked, especially the eggs in the omelet, very dry. We did like the candied bacon pancake. Our server was very pleasant but overworked and we had to ask for several things.

Nice place, eat from buffet and selection were not as numerous as was before covid. Some items on buffet were dried out. It was late morning and not crowded.

Yall. The eggs were GREEN in the bottom of the buffet pan. There were weird round brownies on the breakfast buffet. There were two pancakes on the buffet for 12 people. I asked for butter and they looked at me like I was an alien. Because the eggs on the buffet were green, my party decided to order omelettes. They were horrible. I am disappointed as we used to eat here every year. Not again. Poor waitress, I know her tips suffered. She was excellent.

I found the breakfast here enjoyable. It was not crowded. I had scrambled eggs, sausage biscuit, gravy and fried potatoes. I thought the breakfast was very good. I would go back again.

Our server Grace did a fantastic job. She checked on us often, and was very friendly. The food was okay, we had pancakes, stuffed French toast , eggs, home fries. The buffet was not good at all, I don’t recommend it for sure. We could tell it was under new ownership. Menu changes , pricing were higher, and atmosphere was different. I highly recommend not putting tables together if they aren’t even, the person sitting in middle can’t eat when the plate is toggling on two different tables. (I manage a restaurant so I know why you do that , but the tables need to be flush). That was frustrating. It was also disgusting to look up and see the ceiling tiles had water damage with mold growth on them. We almost walked out because of that. If that is how the restaurant looks where the public is , makes a person wonder what the back of the restaurant looks like. Applewood has always been one of our favorites at Pawleys Island. On a side note, an employee was doing a great job keeping up with bussing tables and cleaning them after customers left .

My very picky 13yr old niece loves it here. Their chicken and waffles are pretty good. Stuffed French toast is good.

Fun tasty food selections. I enjoyed the Senior omelette and my wife enjoyed the Trashy Grits. Cute name, tasty dish.
Carla our server was super sweet and very attentive without hovering. Great experience all around.

Need to learn respect and not berate there waiters in front of customers.

Went for the Sunday brunch buffet. Family of six ate for $100. No complaints from my family. Lovely meal. Good food. Delicious omelets made to order are included in your buffet deal. Will come here again.

My aunt, cousin and I were visiting Litchfield/PI area and decided to try Applewood for breakfast. That was a mistake. The service was great but the food was completely unseasoned. We paid our bill and left. The food went in the trash. Met the owner (Siri) and all she did was recommend another restaurant. Why would we risk another disappointment? No thanks and never again!!

Fresh food, great service and friendly staff. Apple wood House of Pancakes is a great place for breakfast and they have gluten free pancakes that made my wife very happy. I highly recommend eating here.
