We enjoy going to Gilbert's Ice Cream in Pawleys Island for their amazing homemade ice cream😋. They always have new flavors every week and we just had the Chocolate Mint, so delicious. I would recommend going there when you are in the area craving ice cream!
Don’t be fooled…Skip ALL the other HWY 17 ice cream options and just start here. They make their own ice cream. It isn’t some brand they simply resell and scoop from cardboard 5 gallon tubs. Unique flavors. Super nice owner and daughter. We always get Gilbert’s on our trips, multiple times. We always prefer to support a local, family owned, small business.
