“Don’t be fooled…Skip ALL the other HWY 17 ice cream options and just start here. They make their own ice cream. It isn’t some brand they simply resell and scoop from cardboard 5 gallon tubs. Unique flavors. Super nice owner and daughter. We always get Gilbert’s on our trips, multiple times. We always prefer to support a local, family owned, small business.“

“I am truly digusted with what has happened to this DQ. The staff is never seeming to have it together. Tonight not only was my order for a simple banana split wrong but 4 other customers orders eating in were wrong as well. These young people need to get their earbuds outta their ears, stop eating at the counter and walking around acting like they are working when they are 1/2 way doing nothing. The owner of this store NEEDS TO BE PRESENT and get your paid employees in line. Coutney the lady brought in from Surfside said they wont listen to her. We have been coming in for years and these past several months is pitiful. Please do something to get this store back up to speed. The photo here of the 2nd banana split for $7 that was made because the first one was wrong is still sad. Bruised banana. Just not paying attention.“

“They say don't judge a book by its cover, and I tell you what that is what my friends and I did at first when first pulled up infront of this place and saw how busy it was for 1 and for 2 saw this lady covered in tattoos working. She was waiting tables, doing register, taking care of this that and you name it. We looked at each other and said watch it will be our luck we get her.. Well we did and she was everything that we didn't expect. Carrie made sure we all were taken care of to no fault. We all laughed enjoyed everything about our experience. She took care of that place with such professional and pride, i was shocked that she was just the waitress. I was very impressed that even though it is a small burger place that Angelo took so much pride even in his presentation of the meals. Pride and Professionalism to those two.

Parking: Spacious front parking infront of the building, on the side and even in the back. We noticed as we left since my friend went around the building by mistake.

Kid-friendliness: We were very pleased that there were many choices for the children on the menu and that they were given the choice of the car or dessert. My kids loved it. We were very impressed with how great our server Carrie included the kids in the evening. She really made them feel special.

Wheelchair accessibility: Yeah noticed there was handicap parking right infront of the double doors, that both opened up. Very pleased to see.“
