The Rustic Table is one of the most memorable restaurants I have been to - and I am a New Orleans native living in Charleston SC for over 10 years. The simplicity and excellence of their menu, incredible quality, impressive wine at the price point is phenomenal. I haven’t had gator as good outside of Louisiana (and I’m not a huge gator-lover either) Fish, appetizers, and amazing Irish coffee to top it all off. We will be back every time we visit Pawleys Island!

The restaurant has a warm vibe, feels cozy and nice inside. The service was excellent.
We had a side of fried okra for an appetizer that was the best I've ever had. I had the hamburger steak that was served in an au jus with mashed potatoes and collard greens. The hamburger steak was cooked to order and delicious. The collard greens were very good, and the mashed potatoes were solid.
My wife ordered the steak and eggs that was a country fried steak with a white gravy. She enjoyed it.
Others ordered shrimp and grits, which had corn and sausage and a brown reux that looked excellent, and chicken and waffles that ended up being a bit spicy for our friend.
All in all, one of the best restaraunts we've been to in the area and wouldn't hesitate to return if we're in the area.
