This is a must visit lunch spot! I don't know what they make their bread out of, but their sandwiches are God tier! I had the turkey and roast beef today, and it was fantastic.

A good meatball sub with onions and cheese. The two stars off are for charging $.54 for water. That's insane water is free. Makes me not want to go back.

I always order the Beaufort Philly and it’s really good but today it was not so pleasant. The whole sandwich was dry the meat was very rubbery i even had them add mayo and it didn’t make a difference at all.

Atmosphere is relative because, well, it’s Alvin Ord’s. You stand in line to order and there probably isn’t seating for more than a dozen inside and out. Part of the charm. Damn fine sandwiches. Unlike anywhere else. Order a salvation if it’s your first time.

My goodness! This sandwich will make you smack your mama and papa! The bread is delightfully homemade and the flavor profile of the Salvation is A1! I ordered it all the way, added extra mayo. Their lunch specials are well worth it and delicious. Do yourself a favor and go to Alvin Ord's.
