First time to have dinner at Chef Frank’s Bistro. What an excellent surprise as it far exceeded our already high expectations. We heard it was good, but it was exceptional. While I’m sure the other dishes were good, the pork chop was magnificent. We will definitely be back. We also got to meet Frank as he came out to see if we enjoyed. Outstanding!!

Our party of 3 enjoyed a delicious dinner and dessert with a bottle of red wine at Chef Frank's Bistro. My husband and son reported their meal of filet mignon with horseradish mashed potatoes and asparagus was excellent. My plate of seared tuna, jasmine rice and vegetable medley was perfectly prepared. High praise for the key lime pie and cheesecake with chocolate mousse desserts, all of which assured our return for a future visit.

Been looking forward to trying this and my expectations didn’t disappoint … had an amazing dinner with my wife … made an reservation a couple weeks ago and would highly recommend doing so as it’s a full intimate restaurant … we didn’t wait to be seating more than 15 seconds … we were then greeting by a friendly waitress whom told us the specials … my wife ordered the sweet Italian sausage with bolognese and pasta and she thoroughly enjoyed it … I went with the filet mignon and can honestly say it was the best I’ve had in my 56 years … the glaze was so tasty and they filet was so tender and cooked to perfection … we will definitely be back !!!!

Wonderful dinner enjoyed by all at this quaint Port Royal gem. The oysters Rockefeller, caprese salad, swordfish were delicious as was the grouper special. Seek out this restaurant when you want to enjoy a delicious meal.
We were looking for a place with an unpretentious menu which let the ingredients shine through. Chef Frank’s came in at an A+. Our salad, swordfish and crème brûlée were delicious.
Customer service was warm, friendly, and professional. Friday and Saturday nights are always full, and the space is small so be aware of the noise level.
Will definitely be back! Yes Chef!

Delicious food; definitely much better than you can expect in a cafe/bistro. My wife and I had the swordfish and the creme brulee. Service is excellent. At the end of our meal, the Chef came to our table to chat with us. If we were in France this restaurant would definitely deserve a Michelin star. Bottom line: much better than all restaurants in Beaufort, at a very reasonable price.

We’ve been looking for a great locally owned steak and seafood place here in Beaufort and this is it. My halibut and my wife’s filet mignon were perfectly cooked and service by Ashley was excellent. Chef/owner Frank came by each table to check on dinner and have a chat. Highly recommended.
