We celebrated my father’s 101 Birthday on Thursday. The food was delicious and the service was excellent. Very quaint atmosphere. We will definitely be back.

After dining here a few times ourselves, we had close friends visiting so made reservations on March 6th. The food was not good on this night. I ordered the ribeye. There was no tenderloin on it which we thought was odd. It was difficult to cut and tough to chew. I had a few bites, the flavor was okay but, because it was so tough, I left most on my plate. Two of the men in our party ordered the broiled Captain’s platter, which came on a small platter and without very much food. Unfortunately they left hungry and not very happy. I definitely will not dine here again, especially after the response I received from the owner.

The food was almost inedible. Tasteless she crab soup, burnt fried oysters, very little fried seafood but each plate had a huge portion of cold and old fries. These were all seafood baskets with round and cold balls of hush puppies! It was like let’s cover up our lack of seafood offerings with huge amounts of cold fries. The slaw was also old…limp and yellowy. The broiled bay scallops were rubbery.
It was a very unpleasant experience. Also expensive considering the poor quality.
The service was hit or miss. How you are the locals’ favorite is beyond my understanding. It was a chef’s debacle. Rating=1

Awesome shrimp and grits. Broiled scallops and flounder were great and the scallops melted in your mouth. Steaks looked and smelled great. Will definitely eat there again.

Service and atmosphere was excellent, but the food left a lot to be desired. The food wasn't hot and the seafood didn't taste as fresh as I thought it would be being right there in Port Royal. The pecan pie was also bland. I may give it another try, but I would definitely order something different. The crab dip was good though.
We only stopped in to pick up some of their soups and they were really delicious! Their bartender makes a really good smoked Old Fashioned, friendly guy! We can't wait to go back to eat there.

The new, elegant , inviting decor creates the mood while always welcoming and professional Matt sets the stage. Newly hired Christophers' charming presence behind the bar initiated our evening, and my tuna reconstructed sushi roll was simply delicious. Thank you, Evan, for your creativity and cuilinary skill. Even though I have moved, it is our go-to place when I am in town. Thank you, Madisons, for these ladies' special evening. I can't wait until next time. Save our stools.❤️

There is nothing I could say bad about this place. We need a gluten safe place and this is the spot!
The staff is very aware of what is Gluten-free and what is not. They are very accommodating to ensure we have a celiac save meal.
The food was delicious, fresh and fast. The staff was wonderful I will eat here every time I visit Port Royal!
Dietary restrictions: Out side of the hushpuppies and the pasta everything else was Gluten-free. And there was no questions when asked to substitute anything.
