We have a large group that goes out for lunch every month and Marker 244 is the most accommodating restaurant by far!
They are always happy to add a few more seats when needed! The service is super! Today we were served by Chandler and Connor and they didn’t miss a beat serving 18 customers! My favorite is the shrimp basket. Thanks again and we look forward to another visit!

Excellent service from some of the most loving and appreciated group of characters in all of Beaufort Country. Amazing food. Even better views, and a stellar environment for locals and travelers alike to enjoy on the water! From the always optimistic servers to the fabulous chefs in the back of house, Marianna (owner) has done an amazing job over her time since starting the restaurant, Maker 244 is truly a masterclass look into what it takes to create a community of love, support, food so good it’s almost criminal. (p.s. Turner who serves up in the front is super handsome and so good at his job he deserves a raise :p)

We held a luncheon for 20 people at Marker 244 yesterday. The Manager, Marianna, made the whole process seamless from beginning to end.
Food was served promptly, and was delicious! Kennedy, our server, was excellent!
I eat here frequently, and food is always wonderful! But I am even more impressed now, as servicing a group of 20 is no easy task.
Thank you Marianna, Kennedy, and the entire Marker 244 for a wonderful luncheon!

Came for the setting, food was good too, but the reason we will come back is in hopes of having Kennedy as a server again! She is fantastic and a gem among the service industry! She went above and beyond to take care of all of our needs.

Marker 244 is a great little restaurant tucked away at the Port Royal Landing Marina. They have delicious lunches and dinner plates at reasonable prices, a pretty view of the marina and waterway, and they even have some local live bands who perform live music on the weekends. The menu has an island theme, with caribbean style dishes (lots of fresh fish and seafood items!) and the bar serves great drinks. It's a fun place, with a very friendly waitstaff and lots of locals. Usually it's less 'touristy' than some of the other Beaufort area restaurants, but you'll be welcomed no matter if you're a visitor or you have lived there your whole life!
