Schellring at Port Royal is one of my favourite visit points when i make a bike tour . Personal is very compent . Best is, to come and test it yourself.

Rollin’ With Meemaw Pumpkin Cheesecake Ale was delicious! ( Not too much spice for those who are not big fans of the spicy pumpkin ales). The no seeums were rough today, so we went inside to finish our beers. The 80’s soundtrack playing was the bonus of being inside!! We love this brewery.

Is this place ever going to get a real kitchen? Years of working out of trailer smoking cigarettes out the back door with the windows and door wide open. I can’t believe it’s been passed by a health inspection this long.

Our friend is moving out of state so we decided to spend our evening at Shellring and it was a great way to send our friend off. Such a great atmosphere, so many friendly people and great live music. It felt like we were in the backyard of our own homes that’s how comforting and nice it was. Great beer and wine, amazing shrimp tacos. The one thing I have to say is as cute as it may be to parents to watch their kids playing on the beautiful oak that they have in the back by the water I wish they’d have more respect for it. Maybe consider putting up a sign preventing kids from climbing, jumping and hanging on the trees lower limbs as this will damage the tree greatly. It’s not healthy for the tree at all and it’s unfortunate. The tree adds that southern character. It won’t be long before the limb needs removed with the kind of stuff it’s having to endure and that’s the best case scenario, hopefully the damage remains localized and doesn’t effect the integrity of the entire tree. Other than watching that take place, it was a great time and we highly recommend!

The staff is friendly and ready to help! The brewery is right on the bay with water front seats under the southern live oaks, the spanish moss drifting in the wind:)

Our friends brought us here yesterday for a beer after walking through the Cypress Wetlands. The atmosphere was really good with a guy on guitar doing a great job singing 80-90s tunes. The Coco Porter I had was excellent and so was the other porter my friend had. They have other drinks for those who don’t like beer and some food. I am really looking forward to going back but will need a designated driver so I can try more beers.
