Everyone we came into besides the hibachi chef was extremely rude. We went for my father’s birthday and they have a whole birthday wall to celebrate people and they just ignored us when we told them. Which isn’t the end of the world. Their prices are high for the food and portions you get. My sister and I wanted to share a meal and the lady refused and said it would be $8 extra. I explained we didn’t want any extras , that the food is more than enough to share with 2 people (sharing with my little sister) and she refused to let us share a $30 meal. Will definitely not be going back. I miss Yama. Definitely messed up my afternoon that we had to pay an extra fee for something that should have been no extra charge. I also got the calamari which wasn’t a big portion.

Staff 5⭐️, decor was fun! I live in Japan so this is a hard review. Absolutely not Japanese food. Absolutely what Americans think is Japanese food. Everything is covered in a sauce and you're given sauce for dipping. My family love it here but I struggled eating as again I live in Japan so it's hard review cause this is not what I eat or what I'm being served.

We tried Yummy Hibachi and Sushi for the first time and it was SO good! We got the pink lady roll and spicy kani (I forgot to take a pic) and it was 10/10! It was the perfect amount of rice with A LOT of tuna and kani! For our dinner, I got the shrimp and steak and the shrimp were huge and “yummy”! The waitress and the cook was great. I didn’t get their names but I think we were on grill 3 and they were very nice and quick! I will choose this restaurant over the Japanese restaurants in Summerville/Charleston from now on!

worst Asian food I have ever eaten sincerely in my entire life! they ruined my birthday! the bill was $157 and it was so not worth 50 at all they're not only the worst Asian I've ever eaten in my entire life but you should just avoid this place at all cost, drive to Bluffton or eat it that much better nicer place by the IHOP because I'm telling you this place is in the ghetto it's in the cracktown and believe me when I tell you they deserve to be, this is I love love Asian food I love Japanese food this was the worst Japanese Asian food I've ever eaten in my entire life literally and I never order steak and I ordered steak and it was so tough and I got it medium so it wouldn't be tough they don't give you silverware they don't give you knives it is too tough to chew couldn't even bite through it worst meal ever and I wish they hadn't put my photo on the wall! I will never ever ever eat there again!!!! and now let me go throw away my whole plate of takeout because I didn't want to say no I didn't want to take out container cuz your food is disgusting in front of my mother but it is!!!!!

Quality of this restaurant has gone down. Rude staff and a woman who is yelling at her coworkers as she’s working. Subpar dining experience through lack of dinnerware prior to receiving your meal and then less than 10 minutes into your meal “check?”. But the worst was food poisoning. I got their new? Halloween roll and woke up at 2 am to symptoms. I really wanted to just not leave a review but food poisoning? Cmon.

Price to Quality was not good. Probably lowest quality sushi grade fish I’ve had at a restaurant. Hibachi was average to mediocre(the portion size was pretty large though). Menu should’ve been 20-30% cheaper in order to match the quality. Service was good, and food was served quickly. But they are asking Savannah/Charleston prices for food that doesn’t come close to that standard.
