Wonderful experience. Savannah and all the wait staff were professional, courteous and went out of their way to make our night a success!
My wife and I have dined at this restaurant several times. We have never been disappointed. Great food!
We had a wonderful experience at the Mill Pond! Our steaks were cooked to perfection, the sides were delicious, and the staff were wonderful and attentive without being intrusive.
I absolutely love this place. It's my favorite and I try to go at least once a month. Best food around!
Can't say enough about our experience. Absolutely loved it. By far the best steak and Mac&Cheese we've ever eaten!
We love Mill Pond. Our steaks and crab cakes were to die for. Mushroom and onion sides were a little to salty but we devoured the Nonetheless!
We celebrated our son Hunter's 40th Birthday. Service was great as usual. The food was 5 Star. We always have a fantastic experience at The Mill Pond.
One on the best steaks I've ever had. I've been to some of the most famous steakhouses in the USA. Mill Pond Steak house had to be in the top three steaks I ever had. The price was on par for the quality. We plan to go back soon
I've been eating at this restaurant for 20+ years. I love the history and vibe of the restaurant and have a lot of nostalgic memories of eating here. I've recommended it to everyone as a special occasion romantic destination for the last 20 years. I took my wife here for our 6th anniversary on Saturday 10/18. The service was great. Gabe, waiter, did a great job and did his best to make sure the service was up to standard. The steaks were absolutely the poorest cooked I've eaten at a restaurant since I ordered a t-bone from Waffle House in rural Arkansas. Both were grey and undercooked, looked a lot like they were placed on a cold section of a grill or in an oven and sent out with no regard for quality. I ordered both steaks medium rare. Mine was Philadelphia blue, at best. Cold and purple center. My wife's was closer to rare but still unappetizing and nowhere close to what I expect for a $300 meal. I have a hard time believing either was anywhere close to prime and it was just such a major disappointment. I have no problem paying for expensive meals when the food hits the mark. I read some recent reviews and chose to ignore them thinking surely my beloved Mill Pond would deliver as usual. I was wrong. Service was great, ambiance is always great, it's a beautiful old building. But It's just not worth it anymore to roll the dice on a subpar meal in this price range. Stick with Hall's if you want a steak.
Don't let the outside appearance fool you; the food was delicious and the service was the tops!

Our server was very experienced, and offered excellent insights into the menu as well as the specials... The spectacular location added to the ambiance... Parking is clunky... (it's not a paved parking area)... Not a big deal, but for a lady in heels it could be awkward...
Reservations highly recommended...
Definitely will return

Incredible atmosphere, service, and food! Worth the longer drive that we took to come here.
As always, the food was to die for. Steaks perfectly cooked and amazing taste. And the fried Okra was wonderful.
The food was delicious and the service was great!

What a delightful and charming restaurant! Our meal from start to finish was superb, only to be outdone by the spectacular service (thank you, Trish!). The fried green tomato appetizer was uniquely presented and unforgettable. The filet was delicious, perfectly seasoned and mouth-watering. The creamed spinach with a crunchy breadcrumb topping elevated this dish to another level. My husband and son barely left me any macaroni and cheese; it was that good! Mill Pond Steakhouse has a pretty and rustic vibe; with all of the southern hospitality you would expect and then some. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would.
