Our server was very experienced, and offered excellent insights into the menu as well as the specials... The spectacular location added to the ambiance... Parking is clunky... (it's not a paved parking area)... Not a big deal, but for a lady in heels it could be awkward...
Reservations highly recommended...
Definitely will return

Incredible atmosphere, service, and food! Worth the longer drive that we took to come here.
As always, the food was to die for. Steaks perfectly cooked and amazing taste. And the fried Okra was wonderful.
The food was delicious and the service was great!

What a delightful and charming restaurant! Our meal from start to finish was superb, only to be outdone by the spectacular service (thank you, Trish!). The fried green tomato appetizer was uniquely presented and unforgettable. The filet was delicious, perfectly seasoned and mouth-watering. The creamed spinach with a crunchy breadcrumb topping elevated this dish to another level. My husband and son barely left me any macaroni and cheese; it was that good! Mill Pond Steakhouse has a pretty and rustic vibe; with all of the southern hospitality you would expect and then some. If I could give it more than 5 stars, I would.

First time at The Millpond but will not be the last. Food was excellent, service impeccable and the view is very nice. It can get a little loud with large groups in an open area but it was a very nice evening out.
Trisha our server was top notch - food was excellent we tried four sides all delicious- the cheese cake will knock your Sox off. Be prepared to pay up but it's well worth it!!!!
Food was fantastic as always but service a little slower then normal for bringing it out. No complaints just an observation. Our server (Chad ?) was great
Goodness what an gem hidden in Rembert SC close to Sumter. I made reservations after a friend recommended that I give them a try, I'm so glad we did! The place has an interesting history, it was an old mill. I walked around before going inside to take some pics. Once we walked in, the red carpet was rolled out (the best customer service).
This was definitely one the best meals that I have ever had in my lifetime. The team was professional, friendly, courteous and helpful. The food was excellent, everything tasted freshly made with love. The next day I had No stomach pain at all, which is very rare these days when I eat at a restaurant. The lamb chops and ribeye aged steak was absolutely amazing, every bite melted in our mouths, the different flavors hit all thru our palates.
The only tip I wanna make sure patrons understand. Yes it's a pricey evening out, and the sides are not included. We felt that at least one side should be included with the main dish. My 4 lamb chops cost $61 which was quite a bit. Most high end restaurants will at least include one side. Don't let this take away from your experience, just go and enjoy. It's a once a year kinda meal for us. We didn't try desert, but heard it was also amazing.
It was our 32nd anniversary, and the waitress wished us many more, we didn't expect anything more. The thought was very much appreciated.
I recommend to all and will be returning again.

Food was delicious! Server (she was the manager but I can't remember her name) was amazing! We even got to see an alligator!
Heard about the place and try something different for my anniversary. It was a hit . Will definitely be going back. I loved it!
My husband and I recently had an amazing anniversary dinner here, and everything about the experience was wonderful. The food and drinks were absolutely phenomenal, and our waiter, Eric, made the evening even more special. He was extremely knowledgeable about the menu and drink options, and his great sense of humor kept us laughing every time he checked in. The restaurant itself is stunning — they’ve preserved so much of its original charm. The hand-hewn craftsmanship is truly impressive and adds to the overall atmosphere and ambiance. We couldn’t have asked for a better evening!

We had a wonderful dining experience. The food was delicious. We had shrimp cocktail, Caesar salad, macaroni and cheese, garlic mashed potatoes, beef filets, plus drinks. Our server, Tricia, was excellent. She assisted us in selecting our dishes, was friendly and attentive. It was clear that she wanted to make sure that we had a superb evening.
