We arrived to have lunch the staff was very hesitant and even suggested we go to another restaurant down the street ( #sarah&geo’s) , we decided and said we would wait to be seated . Staff took a name and phone number , We Waited almost 2hours and never got service, when the staff was questioned the staff I was asking if I was with another party I won’t say the name ( an 🌍AA name) after seeing several ppl come and go, was told she gave away one of the tables they picked for us and they had just sat down to eat so I would have to wait an additional 45mins maybe more. Racist, Definitely will never return!!! Waited 2 hours and never got seated, had multiple children dressed for the occasion and never got the experience!! Ruined a babies 7th Birthday!! Thankful for Sarah and Geos who were happy to accommodate us.

A cozy little hang out spot in a cozy little town. Plenty of friendly folks in the area and places my S/O and I stop through whenever we come by. Laura's Tea Room is just the initiator for us and family. If you're stopping in and unsure - I'd recommend the magic butterfly, ginger peach, and pistachio salad especially.

The food is fresh, the tea is very good (many varieties available), the atmosphere is unique. It's a different experience and a fun diversion from the routine sandwich shop.

Hi , myself and my wife were visiting our best friends in Columbia Sth Carolina back in June of this year and our friend took us to the area hse which she had raved about .We were not disappointed .The service was top notch , the food was delicious, my wife and I had the soup with half a sandwich , plus a large slice of sweet potato cake, which was the best and also our meal included a scone with cream . Did I forget to mention the passion fruit iced tea and also we had hot tea I had a pot of black Irish tea , abd my wife and our friend Randi she had a herbal tea , cannot remember the flavor. Overall we had a wonderful time there . The small town where it is in Ridgeway has some nice shops and so much more . I found out the owner us from Ireland , same place as meself lol Irish for myself!!

I loved being in this historic space and among so much beauty (LOVELY teapots and items!). I savored my watermelon salad, which was the lunch special, and also enjoyed a peach scone with clotted cream and a pot of decaf Birthday Cake tea. We had a fine time and made a great memory!
The staff is spectacular! Bodie, our server, was awesome, and Craig, the owner, was very kind and welcoming, too.

Totally AWESOME!!! We will be back for sure. The staff was amazing and the food was delicious. The staff went out of their way to accommodate us since we were physically unable to climb the stairs. The shop is adorable. We loved every minute of our visit. I highly recommend Laura's Tea Room. 10 Stars at least.
