Soups were amazing. French dip was terrible (cheap meat, skimpy). Cleanliness gets 0 stars. Especially the restrooms. They looked like they hadn’t seen a mop in weeks. Dust caked on every picture hanging on the walls. Dining room floors were slightly better looking than the bathroom. I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like…lost my business!

Disappointed to say the least. French dip one single sliver of beef, the dipping broth taste like cup ramen broth! 11.25, felt like an insult. Pastery was good but expensive and tasted old. The black coffee, 12 ounces was cold, we paid 3.50 for that! This was such a let down, do better.

I ordered the French dip and two other pastries. The French dip sucked. Barley any meat, and the sauces tasted like maruchan ramen. I also ordered three coffees. Two tiramisu coffees and one black. It tasted like a quick trip coffee. The pastries were ok. The cheesecake was dry. Service was good though.

Rather disappointed. Always used to love going to Amelie’s for their exceptional service, friendly staff, and great drinks. Ordered a cappuccino recently and go the drink below. No foam whatsoever and a very badly pulled espresso shot. Hoping this can be improved.

What’s going on with Amelies??? Everything I order now is just trash!! Old almond croissant every time weird taste of other baked goods they just adding powder sugar on everything now to hide how it really looks and oh my god the baguette is too old even warmed up I could NOT chew it! Also other desserts they mess up the whole menu.. I will never give them a chance anymore…
Just ok today. Sandwich was too dry.

Such a charming coffee shop. Service is always top-notch.
My daughter spilled water, an employee was on it before I could blink. She brought some extra waters with lids for us!
The coffee and desserts are also great.

Hi all- it hurts my heart to make this review because I love Amelie’s. I have a friend that is homeless and lives in downtown Rock Hill and sometimes people will buy him food there and he will stay inside to eat. I actually ate there with him one morning after someone else had bought him food. I was surprised to see him there. He said that there was a particular staff member that was giving him a hard time for eating in the restaurant.
I think when money has been exchanged him eating inside shouldn’t be an issue. Regardless someone paid for his food again on another occasion and he was eating inside and the same staff member called the cops on him and had him trespassed. This was over the summer when it was too hot to really be outside. I understand the drive behind these actions but when money has been exchanged he’s a customer. I’d be open to hearing more about this situation from Amelie’s. It seems like a customer was kicked out because he was homeless. I don’t believe he was loitering and I ate breakfast with him and it was peaceful.
Love this charming place. The fruit tart is absolutely delicious. I always get one and a cup of chai tea. This is one of my go to places to sit and relax and enjoy some yummy treats.

I think this might be my favorite Amélie’s location. I’ve only been twice (so far) but am already looking forward to my next time! It’s the same lovely menu and quirky décor as the other locations but in cute downtown Rock Hill. It was a beautiful day the last time I visited and I enjoyed the front porch area! The staff is always kind, friendly, and helpful when there are too many delicious choices.

I was served a very stale chocolate cake that was so dry at the bottom and throughout that I had to throw it out. I believe it would have been a delicious cake if it were fresh, but that was not my experience. I think I will stick with their main location as I had a fantastic experience with their desserts.
