Big Boy's Country Cooking

Food was not bad. Not a place I will go to on a regular basis or if at all. First experience there in June, the buffet was just ok. I would have thought the seasoning and quality of the food would have been better. I believe Publix Deli has a better quality meal.

They posted a video of food on their bar. When I got there, the food I wanted was gone. The food that was there was not great. Steak was more like jerky, pork chops eat over cooked as well. Mashed potatoes, rice and macaroni was good but cold. The ONLY highlight was Penny.. she was awesome. When no one was at the counter to take our payment, she did, even though it wasn't her job. She always checked on us and was the only one that seemed genuinely concerned of our disappointment in the food. If I go back it will be because of Penny, not the food.

This place has went down hill drastically. I have been eating here from the begining. And it was great, then.$19.05 for a drink and single buffet with 6 different chicken dishes. A meatloaf. Some fish. No pork at all. And hardly any side that really differentiate from one another. Sad. I probably won't be back. It's a shame too

I noticed a child sticking her hands in the food and the staff noticed as well. They nicely educated the child not to put her hands in the food and without prompting the staff member dumped the whole try out and replaced with fresh food. Great variety of food! I’m gluten free and found plenty to eat. My family enjoyed all the gluten lol. Great service! All around five stars!

I took my parents after a recent appointment, the price was excellent, and food was delicious! I love how large the salad bar is, and even had small pieces of chicken breast to top your salad with!My dad is an old country boy, whose mom was a wonderful cook, and he approved!?

Grab a quick bite to eat here. Did not realize it was a buffet,but it sure was good. Mac and cheese look good,but it came out dry I was kind of sad about it. I guess because it was a week day. Everything else was good what I had. I need to try it on the weekends. I feel like the food would be wayy better.

Lil too pricey...food is bland...but good...not great

Been here several times and its been great until today.. first of all there were no forks, took about 10 minutes for someone to bring us some.The plates were dirty. Flies were all over the dessert bar. The heat lamps were not working on part of the food bar. No one ever came by our table to refill drinks.

Very good buffet and value, ok atmosphere although a little crowded, liked the fried chicken although I would recommend one tray for dark meat and one tray for white meat, it would be easier, service was great from Penny, disappointed on the limited desserts , I was hoping for cherry or blueberry cobbler, there was apple though, brownies were good, looking forward to trying it again , can we get breakfast later on Saturday? We drive 40 minutes to get there. Note that only tea is included with buffet, soft drinks are not. thank you!

Don’t waste your money. Literally everything was flavorless. The cake was dry so definitely old. Teenage boys as cooks that’s fine but one has long hair that was not put up. Paid over 60.00 definitely not worth it and won’t be back. my boys went to the bathroom and said it was gross. Pee on the floor and brown stuff smeared

I enjoyed the food. The waitress was one of the best I ever had. It was a great experience for me. There was a wide variety of different things to eat at this buffet style restaurant.

Visited today for lunch and food was okay. My rating is primarily due to the service we received. When I came in the front cashier was not friendly and actually threw my receipt on the counter for me to sign. 1st strike!! We got to the table and got our food and our drinks still were not there. After.a few minutes, the same cashier asked what drinks we wanted and proceeded to bring them over. Strike#2, the waitress/cashier never came back to our table to refill our drinks at all, we had to ask another waitress, who apologized. I didn't see the waitress again until we were walking out and she watched us walk out without saying a word!! Final strike and final visit!

Use to be a great place. Now everything is water down. For the price i might as well go on back to Shane's BBQ where they actually have sauces. Mac and cheese plain water down, hamburger had no seasoning, bbq water down. Salad bar still very big and great but basically that's it. Corn bread taste dull, rolls not even warm or anything.

The food is delicious and two of my friends are specifically addicted to the fried chicken. I personally am not a big fan of fried chicken but there's is delicious even to somebody who's not a fan. I've eaten there several times and I've never really been disappointed. There seems to be plenty to choose from and of course they have a salad bar and a dessert bar in addition to the regular Buffet. I think I also noticed soft serve ice cream. I've always eaten my fill, so I haven't been to the desert bar.

Great tasting food. I had both lunch and dinner on the same day and was very pleased with each visit.
