I ordered the oxtail pasta. I'm still looking for the oxtail. This dish either needs oxtails or a new name. I tried calling the restaurant and they use some answering service. I'm feeling like I won't be returning 😕. I hate giving negative reviews. The people was pleasant. The oxtail pasta is a joke. I would like a refund and NO, I didn't eat it.

I ordered jerk chicken....and guess what ..They forgot to give my chicken.
I have my cabbage and my rice...but no chicken!!....Considering that i had to wait over and hour for my food....and i get it...And they forget the main part.of the meal...who does that!!

Love this place. Nice Island vibe in Rock Hill SC. The food is fantastic. Authentic West Indian food. Everyone is so friendly the customer service is second to none. The owner does his best to greet everyone. He even comes to your table to make sure everything is all good! If you haven't made the trip yet you are missing out on some good eats and a great atmosphere. Make sure you try one of the amazing drinks they serve and a tasty patty. You will not be disappointed

The Island Grille & Pub is amazing! The curry goat and oxtail are both seasoned perfectly, tender, and full of flavor. Paired with white or yellow rice and peas, plus cabbage and plantains, every plate feels like true island comfort food. Portions are generous, the food is consistent, and you can taste the authenticity in every bite. One of the best spots in Rock Hill for delicious, home-style island cooking!
I am Jamaican so I am picky about where I get my Jamaican food. This place is the real deal. I drive an hour to get food here. If you haven't, check them out. I love the oxtails and my sister loves the stew chicken. You can't go wrong

I have eaten here 2 other times but on Wednesday of this week was a huge let down. I ordered a lg oxtail since they have been amazing but what a let down. I was told they were cooking some and would be done in 15 min. NOT DONE!!! Normally tender ans fall off the bone, this time tough and could hardly get meat off the bone. Left off extra gravy that i paid for. My fault didnt check bag. I was soooo dissappointed with this visit, it was starting to become a fav place. Bummer!!! I wouldnt get oxtails that they are rushing to cook.

I ordered the curry goat meal with peas & rice, cabbage and plantains. It was delicious! The goat was tender and well seasoned and the sides were good as well. If you are in the mood for Jamaican food, please give them a try.

Tried it for the first time. Ordered the stewed chicken. Everything was delicious. Food was hot. I asked one of the employees what felt like 1,000 questions. He was so patient, kind , and graceful. I'd definitely go back and think you need to visit asap.
Now the wait times can be long sometimes, but we'll worth it
