Food is normally good but on my last visit they were out of several things I asked for (drinks and food) so I ended up getting a sandwich and it was wrong and had to be remade. This place is normally good, the last visit.... not so much.

First and quite possibly last visit. Got there tonight a little before 7 and there were only a few tables with people at them. We stood at the door for a few minutes before being acknowledged, and told to sit wherever we wanted. It was another 5 minutes before the ONE server came over and took our drink orders. We ordered a coke, a Diet Coke and 2 waters. We got a coke, Diet Coke and 1 water. No straws. One server, one bartender and looked like one cook on a Friday night.

We were at Mchales on St. Patrick’s day. I had the fish and chips and my husband had Shepard’s pie. Both were delicious! Service was great and atmosphere was good considering the pandemic.

I love it here. Great food, especially burgers and shepherds pie. I love the bar, they always make my bees knees perfect. Great atmosphere and lighting. Very cozy environment. Beautiful wood furniture.

We were celebrating my upcoming wedding this past weekend and stopped in McHales for some dinner. Off the bat we’re greeted with rude staff members. They made it very obvious they weren’t interested in our business. Not one server spoke to us and we were all trying to be friendly. Our waiter comes to the table and dryly asks what we want to drink. We ask what’s on tap and he tells us to go to the bar and read the sign. He was so intentionally rude that we asked for another server. Talked to management after that and he seemed to not care at all. I can’t believe owners or managers are ok with losing money because of rude staff. I will NEVER step foot back in McHales.

Not a great experience. We got the potato cakes for an app. They were bland, greasy, and under cooked. My wife had the corned beef and cabbage. She didn’t like it and didn’t even come close to finishing it. I ordered the patty melt and didn’t enjoy it either. Asked for medium and got well done. The server was excellent. I didn’t catch his name but he was pleasant and quick.
