I went the Popeyes located at 2445 Cherry Road ordered at drivethru handed the money to the cashier she handed my food a gentleman came to the drive thru window told me they didn't have any cash so we had to pay by card which I chose not to I asked him why was not any signs put up stating they are accepting cards only no cash, who failed to go to the bank and order enough cash to be able to run the store and he asked for the food back after I had started to eat the food me and my granddaughter after spending $14 I felt like the management was not concern about the customers I have always experienced an issue with this location I visit a friend in Rock hill and on my way back to Charlotte me and my granddaughter stops to eat but never again 5 times is enough to teach me this location does not care about its customers, the way they treat the customers!

Came twice this week and both times they were “out of chicken.” No customers in the lot or in the drive-through. Six PM, and the restaurant that only sells chicken is out of chicken. Seems like poor management to me. Do yourself a favor and skip this dump and go next door to the Bojangles. They have a nicer drive-through, faster service and better prices. Surprised this Popeyes is still in business.

If I could give zero stars I would. This place sucks. We waited for 30 minutes. They refused to give anyone food. Asked for a refund after waiting forever. They refused.
Do not come here.

We ordered our food 22 minutes ago. Nothing. The car behind us is also waiting. We went inside, order isn’t even ready yet so we asked to cancel and requested a refund. They’re saying they aren’t allowed to refund our money???
Don’t come here. I wish I would’ve seen the reviews before ordering to save myself this waste of time. Will be contacting corporate.

The food was fresh and delicious, Popeyes sauce gotta be the greatest fast food sauce oat. 2 of the 5 tenders weren’t that tender. Service was amazing, they had one dude doing most of the kitchen work and serving customers but he was the chillest guy I ever met, better than half of my best friends. Also great atmosphere, they had fans pointed towards the seating area so the customers wouldn’t get hot and the tables were relatively clean considering that they were obviously understaffed. The worst thing on the few tables that were dirty were crumbs, nothing disgusting or anything that would make me question eating my food.

Stop on our way through. Food is pretty good, fresh and hot. Tried the blackened tenders for the first time, A+. The restaurant itself is tremendously lacking in employees. I still give 5 stars for service as the young gentleman behind the counter, being the only one running the drive-thru, front end and packaging the food, over stressed and probably underpaid was still supper friendly, very courteous, respectful despite some frustrated customers. He managed to get all the orders out in around 3-5 minutes with a smile and apologized for everything even though it was not his fault. Took full responsibility of the stores short falls that were clearly out of his control and still somehow through all of that made professional positive corrections to his co-worker behind the prep area. Amazing employee and should be promoted to manager. Shout out to Tawon, in my eyes, Popeyes “Employee of the Year!”

Asked for three pieces of dark meat and got white. Place was dirty. They didn't even have salt.

I couldn't understand the person in drive-thru. Spoke too fast, said the food would take around 15 minutes, but it actually took way less, so that's a plus, food was pretty good besides that. $20 family meal is a great deal, by the way, you should check it out while you can.

I took my two kids to the Popeyes on Cherry Road to get the limited-edition Lucy meal they saw advertised on TV, and I ordered a classic chicken sandwich. While ordering, we were told they were out of the cupcake that came with the meal, but still had the drink. After paying, we went to the fountain and then found out they were actually out of that too. So instead of the advertised special meal, I basically paid extra for a two-piece tender meal that was nearly identical to the regular three-piece tender meal, just with less food.
The bigger issue was the wait. We arrived around 5 PM. It was somewhat busy, but there was no one in the lobby when we got there. We sat down and waited while multiple customers who ordered after us got their food first. After about 30 minutes, I asked for a refund because I had two hungry kids with me. I was told they couldn’t refund me because “half the meal was already cooked” and one box had already been prepared while they waited on more chicken.
We waited another 10 minutes and finally got the food. As expected, part of it was cold from sitting there, while the rest was fresh and hot. This was easily the worst experience I’ve had at this location. I’ve been coming here since they opened, and the service has gradually gotten worse over time. This was the final straw. I’ll still eat Popeyes, but I won’t be returning to this location.

I went to grab dinner on 4/27 at 9:30pm and I was informed by employees that they were closed and were cleaning the store. I then was offered “left over” food from the day. Which consisted of biscuits, two thighs, and make and cheese. I found several strains of blonde hair on my food. I’ve called several times and there hasn’t been an answer. I feel as though this is highly unprofessional and unacceptable.
