I saw this on Google and saw the 4.5 star review and was very excited to try the food here . To my disappointment it was not what I expected. First of all the tacos were stale there fore were falling apart , there was no flavor to the food at all we ordered 5 tacos of white fish, shrimp, barbacoa, and tuna, then I asked for 5 empenadas I ended up with 5 orders of 3 each which I didn’t want and didn’t even enjoy, needless to say my bill was over $200 So disappointing! The only good parts were the decor and the server.

This place is fire! Awesome vibes, bomb food, chill staff, and we can catch the games! A modern take on Mexican food, but not all fancy and overpriced. Plus, it's so close to campus yet not crowded - wild! It's lit for everyone, a total must-visit!
I can go on and on about the place, but truthfully, it speaks for itself. The staff are friendly and present, the food is always top tier (and if any issues arise they are always very accomadating), the atmosphere is fun without being too energetic. Drinks are made with quality ingredients and accuracy. The pricing is fair for the experience and food delivered. Next time you want something familiar but with a different vibe; give Rock Taco a try. They are well worth it.

Cool place with amazing tacos. Wife and I stopped in for a quick lunch. We had the chicken, carnitas, and barbacoa. All 3 were excellent, each with their own unique sauces, salsas and flavors. Corn salad was top notch as well. Service was great and everyone was very friendly. Definitely try this place if in the area.

Rock Taco was a very pleasant surprise when we visited Rock Hill NC. We wanted some tacos and were so surprised at the different tacos on the menu! I couldn’t help but taste everyone’s food, and it was all good even the kids. Our waitress was super helpful, very attentive and I couldn’t have been more surprised by the experience.

Phenomenal food at Rock Taco!!! Gorgeous decor, friendly staff, quick service (Natalie was great!), and the food is stellar. What an awesome experience!!! A new star gem of Rock Hill. Easily one of the best of the best Mexican restaurants in the Charlotte area. This place rocks hard and I give my highest recommendations. From their taco salads to their Birria - outstanding! Jason the owner is fantastic too. The artwork is custom here too - made for Rock Taco by the (world famous/local!) Artist
