Super nice people, small place but fish were very fresh
I'm so impressed with Bradley's Seafood! As a long-time resident, I've seen this local institution thrive, and for good reason. The staff is incredibly friendly and welcoming, making you feel like family from the moment you walk in.
But what really sets Bradley's apart is the exceptional quality of their seafood. I recently stopped by and was blown away by the jumbo shrimp - they looked absolutely fantastic! And the best part? They're caught locally and sold fresh daily. You can't get much better than that!
I also appreciate that Bradley's is open until 5pm on days open (Tue- Sat) making it easy to swing by after work or on your way home from a long day.
Whether you're a seafood aficionado or just looking for a reliable spot to grab some fresh catches, Bradley's Seafood is an absolute must-visit. Support local, eat fresh, and taste the difference for yourself!
Ms Bertha is a charming proprietor. I will always remember her when I return to Kansas City
Local shrimp!
I've been buying Seafood from Ms. Bradley for MANY years. She's the sweetest lady on earth and was quick to correct me when I told her that I thought Joe Frazier was from Philadelphia! LOL!!! Stop by and see her and get some great Shrimp! Love this place!
Awesome local seafood shack for fresh shrimp! Support local seafood. No dipped shrimp here! Iykyk!
I love this place. Always helpful, fresh and authentic St Helena
Hidden Gem! Well not so much hidden as easily overlooked. Exploring the area and coming back from Fort Fremont, I thought back to memories of stopping at roadside stands for boiled peanuts, fresh tomatoes and local shrimp. Just then I spotted this tiny little white cinder block building Bradley Seafood. I streamed right by it but decided to stop in my tracks and turn around. Bertha was just the sweetest person carrying on a lively conversation with the a patron from the only other car that stopped and when she got her plastic bag of fresh shrimp I followed suit and bought a pound along with a jar of cocktail sauce. I thanked her and asked her name again as I was leaving; Bertha, she replied, Bertha Bradley…. I’m sure there is a great story there. How did this place come to be? What is the history here? How many generations have established themselves on this little sacred spot? Maybe I’ll ask and learn more the next time I stop by. Meanwhile the boiled shrimp was delicious and just like I remembered it.
Great seafood!! We wanted whole flounder and was asked if we could come back in the evening and she had 7 FRESH fish for us. Will definitely be back every time we vacation here.
The shrimp was phenomenal! We will definitely return to Bradley Seafood Market when we are back in the Beaufort/Fripp Island area!

Delicious jumbo shrimp! Mrs. Bradley is very nice and locals love to purchase from Bradley’s. Terrific way to end a beautiful day at Hunting Island State Park Beach. Update: My family wanted more jumbo shrimp from Bradley’s! We stopped on our way back to the beach and got shrimp and shark. I cooked the shark in air fryer same as I cook salmon. Mrs. Bradley was correct - it was really good!!
Looking for shark meat and I found it
Shrimp was outstanding. Best we've had in a long time. Mrs. Bradley couldn't be any nicer.
