What a gem of a place. Between the amazing fresh food and the top notch service, I cannot speak more highly of this establishment.
I've been disappointed by countless culinary experiences in the Charleston area, so I've learned to lower my expectations in the surrounding area.
However this spot, knocked the socks off of all those past experiences.
I ordered the frogmore pot had a few bites of their incredible fish and chips, half a dozen extremely fresh and perfectly briny raw oysters and the manager was kind enough to send me home with a slice of the BEST key lime pie I've ever tasted. Not even the key west pie company who is famous for their pies came close to comparing.
Top tier establishment. Do yourself a favor and go experience this place as soon as possible. I'd love to see them thrive for years to come.

The food is amazing! Absolutely the best Mahi tacos. The staff is outstanding!
Always hit or miss. Took a long time to get our food, The fries had a good taste but were cold. My salad consisted of lettuce and red onion. The seafood bisque was good. The gumbo was very sweet. The waitress offered me something else and did remove the salad from our bill.

Nothing fresh. Shrimp were Rubbery. No hush puppies. Would not recommend especially on the Sea Islands were their is abundance of fresh seafood. Maybe Steak is better.

The staff beyond fabulous, the food fantastic . I'd give them 100 out of 100. I will return. For whatever reason, the police in the parking lot, the general manager made everyone feel safe and informed . Do go enjoy a beer or a fabulous bourbon chocolate chip pecan pie....thank you guys for an outstanding dinner . I only wish I could remember our waitress name ,cathy?? She's great.

Parking: Parking has never been a challenge there. Handicapped Parking is available also.
Kid-friendliness: My grands enjoy their visits! There is a 12 and under menu. The food is delicious.

This café is perfect for a family outing or even bringing along your pets. They’ll be treated to a bowl of water and a cozy spot. The terrace offers a stunning view of the lake, with fresh air, delicious food, and incredibly friendly staff. My husband and I had a wonderful experience. It’s easily one of the best places we’ve discovered recently!

Very pretty on the outside, FOOD IS GREAT ! Cooks are good and fast Again love the scenery! We had shrimp and oyster basket ! Clean bathroom The staff needs to get happy and SMILE ! We were sat Bailey ( the owners wife ) was our waitress was absolutely unpersonable ! I asked if they had WiFi she states “ I DONT HAVE PUBLIC WIFI and walks off . Not I’m sorry or anything ! She took our order without a smile no how’s your day going or hi my names Bailey I’ll b your waitress today. She brings out food sits it down there’s silver ware ! No O my let me get that or Sorry about that just walls to get it and sits it down no enjoy your food or anything. never once asked if I needed more tea so I got my own ! When I asked the greeter what our waitress name was she immediately went to tell on me lol next thing I know another lady ( Kelly ) comes huffing up and says did you ask for a manager ? Not hello how u doing or hi how was your food was everything ok I tell her that I didn’t ask for a manager I only asked for a name She then tells me the greeter is her daughter why that matters I don’t know.!?! I tell her our waitress could use a better attitude ! As a first timer I will NEVER return to the Foolis Frog. Bailey instead of apologizing and Kelly as well when asked y I had to get my own tea Bailey states I had 5 other tables not just you !! WTH ? Managee took our dirty dishes and Till didn’t mention tea! They both began to blame me For ruining there ice unsanitary and now they have to burn the ice blah blah blah I understand it’s unsanitary so when they say We ALL saw U get your own tea y didn’t ANYONE say O let me get that for you HELLO !! Long story I know but I am in hospitality and service industry and 30 plus years in customer service The Owner Jayden Morrison needs to get his staff some hospitality training for sure Sad for the cooks since the food was delish O and when telling her she had a bad attitude she replies I have you the same attitude you have me !!!! WOW JUST WOW NO tip for her
