Went here on Valentines day and ended up talking to the 4 tables around us and they were all super kind, I cannot even begin to explain how amazing the service and food were, waitress was super kind and knowledgeable on the menu. This place is a gem and we will be coming back here again!

On a recent trip to Beaufort, we stopped in at the Foolish Frog for lunch on our way out to Hunting Beach and were thrilled with the experience! Staff was busy and our waitress (Mia) was handling a lot, but was very helpful, friendly, and made sure we were taken care of all the way through our visit! The House made fried pickle chips (their own in house pickles with a light crisp breading fried to perfection) were absolutely delicious! Frog water was refreshing and yummy. Crab cake sandwich, flounder, house made chips, and French fries were all hot, fresh, and wonderful! We are still talking about this experience and looking forward to returning here someday!

This is the quintessential southern food restaurant in a building that has been there forever and the food is good southern cooking. The service is friendly and you can eat inside or out. Prices are reasonable and it's just a fun place to go!

Outdoor seating with some of the best shrimp tacos around. Dishes can be hit or miss so ask plenty of questions so you know what you’re getting. But the fish tacos that are on the appetizer list are outstanding.

We saw on Facebook that this place had a famous Frogmore stew! However, on this vacation we had far to much to eat at our stops. We did split an app and chose the gator bites. Although it wasn't my cup of tea, it was nicely fried and not greasy.
We had lunch there on Valentine's Day and despite being crowded the service was great. The appetizer, seafood yum yum ya ya, a combination of a fried grits patty with crawfish andouille sausage, shrimp and garlic was amazing. We both got fried oysters, fresh and plentiful. The Bloody Mary was spicy & potent! Can't review the dessert we were too full!

My wife and I stop in for lunch. We split a full rack of ribs. They were some of the best I have ever had. Fall off the bone tender and very lean. I would recommend this place to anyone in the area.

I'd like to start the review by saying our server Dakota deserves five stars X 10!!! Friendly, attentive, personable and accommodating. Great job! We ordered the fried green tomatoes with pimento cheese and bacon... My favorite app @ Foolish Frog! Additionally, we ordered fried calamari with banana peppers and sweet chili garlic sauce... Yum We were in for lunch and settled on the French Dip Roast Beef sandwich and Reuben...both great! A delicious Bourbon Chocolate Pecan Pie and Creme Brulee...sorry no pictures!

Great back porch. Brought water boles out for our dogs right away. Recommended the mahi tacos and fried green tomatoes. It was so good we didn’t even have time to get a photo. The view was very enjoyable.
