Seaside Bar & Grill

When friends visit and want good seafood, which I don’t eat, I like to take them here. They have creative and tasty vegetarian and vegan options, everyone always loves the food and it’s reasonably priced for this area. Inside and outdoor seating, dog and kid friendly, sometimes with live music. Local, Gullah owned authentic. I just wish they had a seaside view.

I didn’t expect much coming in here but the food speaks for itself. Last time I was in Beaufort I was having bad luck everywhere I ate and this made up for it. My food was wonderful and arrived quickly. Our service was so friendly as well. Worth the trip out to St. Helena for some blackened shrimp!

We were there for the Special Shrimp night menu. Fabulous waitress and staff and the food came out hot and quick. We loved it! Worth the drive over from the historic district for sure!

Wish I could give a honest review on this place as a whole but I can't due to the fact that we had to get up and leave after being seated for 15 minutes without anyone coming to our table to take a drink order. Right before we left the hostess did ask another waitress to assist us but it was obvious she was overwhelmed as it was. I read the room while we were there and had one couple get up and leave due to the amount of time it was apparently taking for their food to come out and numerous others that were notably irritated as well. We decided to take a chance even after several negative reviews but apparently that was a mistake!

Excellent restaurant. Great for big family gatherings, especially with kids. Plenty of areas for smaller parties too. The ribeye steak was cooked perfectly, and the wings were so flavorful. Everyone in our group was very happy! Thanks for a great night out.

Best seafood!! Had a party of 9 mixed with adults and children. Gator bites, river rounds, wings, calamari and crab bisque were amazing! Crabs legs, shrimp and lobster were perfection. Waitress was wonderful and super friendly! Definitely so glad it was recommended to us!

Been coming here for about a year with my daughter because she does horseback riding in the area. The service is always atrocious but I don’t let it bother me. I don’t think I’ve ever had a drink refilled without asking. Never had an order brought to the table that was correct. Today was something else though. Rude hostess made us sit in the bar even though there were open tables EVERYWHERE. Waited 15 minutes to be acknowledged and then ten minutes for our waters. Waitress dropped the wrong food and was gone before I could say anything. Didn’t see her for 20 minutes. Asked repeatedly for more water which never came. Ended up dropping cash on the table and walking out. Mark my words, this place will be closed in a year.

We had reservations and were seated on the patio with no waters or menus to start. Entrees took over an hour to come out and two of the entrees were missing their sides which was not noticed by the wait staff until everyone was done with their meals. No one came to check on us the entire meal. Waitstaff coming out to the patio for smoke breaks and then proceeding to tables without washing their hands. Overall, it felt very unprofessional and unsanitary.

Never got in 2 hours wait but plenty of booths open

Waited over an hour for the food and when it arrived, the fish was luke warm and the grits were dry.
