A quirky little country cafe; if you adjust your expectations accordingly, you will enjoy it. Our food was very good, and the service charming. Just don’t expect a fancy Panera or such.

Daniel is the worst employee ever. Lies to customers and has terrible work experience.

Terrible service, I believe the person who waited on us was named Daniel. He was very rude and not helpful when asking questions about the VERY BASIC menu. It was almost like he was annoyed we had questions. THEN our food was so cold when we got it.

The service was okay only the young girl talked to me not even the boy who took my order the atmosphere inside was quaint but absolutely deplorable in cleanliness and I understand tomatoes being soggy but the one on my burger was practically melting off of it and I understand pink in the middle but not a large chunk of my burger being raw that could get someone sickGood prices but the shop should be cleaner in any standardAll in allI will not be returning

Thank you very much for the most delicious huge chef salad at Calhoun Cafe, & very friendly service. Also, offer many more items. Check them out on FB, for a menu, you can call in your order, dine in or out. If you want wonderful food, stop by the Calhoun Cafe. (Located directly behind the courthouse/St. Matthews. We should support our local businesses.
Burgers tasted as they have been frozen then thawed out several times they were hand patted but saved too many times chewy and tasted old. My boyfriends had blood spots in his.
They were out of a few menu items when we visited, but everything was very affordable and quite tasty. My wife's BLT and my B(ologna)LT were both simple, but without fault. Same for my ham and cheese sandwich (I was hungry). This was the best meal our kids have eaten on this trip (pb&j and a grilled cheese). The service lacked for nothing and the staff were very friendly and helpful. If you're looking for a different atmosphere and something off the beaten path, give this place a shot. Especially good for lunch, I'd think.

It's like mom kitchen! Great place to eat!
Excellent club sandwich.
After paddling the Congaree River, this homemade cheeseburger and fries hit the spot! There are quaint gift items for sale inside the restaurant, and a lot of cute inexpensive jewelry.
Very sweet lady running things. We enjoyed our lunch and then enjoyed looking at all of the handmade things in the store.
Quaint little hole in the wall restaurant barely noticeable. VERY affordable for any budget. Single mom's take your kids in. Just don't let them touch things, as this also does double as a Boutique. There are beautifully made quilts and baby clothing on display, along with antiquities. Friendly staff. Clean. I can't put anything in the con column.
