Never have I been so upset with the quality of food here. Food tasted old and was way over charged for the amount of food received . $41 for “small” vegetable lo mein , a “small” chicken teriyaki ( burnt and scorched) and a “kids” fries and wings …

Honestly I don’t recommend This place the Chicken is hard and the rice is too. Place has gone down hill over the years. Best places to eat in saluda unfortunately are the Fast food places.

Stop by to pick up a meal for the family we didn't feel like cooking. The waiting area is run down and no real effort to insure a great customer experience. The gentleman that took my order was very short not friendly at all. Almost seemed like I was a burden, not very appreciative for my business. Placed the order and waited while they prepared everything. Got home to enjoy they meal i was very disappointed, everything tasted old and bland. To Me it seem that the food had been cooked a week ago then put in the microwave I will not be returning nor would I recommend this establishment.

I wish I could put a 0 star but for me review i have to put atleast a star and if I had the power I wish I could shut the business down. The people in the restaurant aren't the best but, they're not rude or anything. I'm guessing its family owned, but I just wish they'd stop. The food they serve looks presentable for something that's not fancy or anything. Its to be expected, the taste of the food is bland and lacking of any passion. I usually get the general tso's chicken and sometimes the bourbon chicken. I would eat at the place once a month or a few times in between months, the other times the food was okay not the best. Their fried wonton they're not fresh and you could tell and also when you chew on them. The chicken is just really bland, the rice is lacking in so much flavor. This time around today, I got what I usually ordered and I come home and eat the food. As I was picking around the general tso's chicken, I saw something weird it looked like an onion and so I took close expecting and I saw it was a cockroach. The establishment itself is really bad, the paint job outside and inside of the place is terrible. The place really need some serious renovations. I've never ate the other food they serve at the place, but since ai expect to have a cockroach in my food the rest of their meat must be infested with something. I don't understand how, all the rest of these people put a high rating on this place, its just very unsanitary and their food lacks anything. Aswell, as their parking lot is very small whenever they get a delivery the food semi-truck parks at the front of the store and you'll get stuck if you park at the front of the store, you would not be able to back up. The restaurant itself is also is in a bad location, it is next to residents of the town. It would be better if they find a different location and do a rebrand and maybe rethink of their methods of everything they do. I could understand why maybe some people put a high rating is because the portions they give is pretty high they, give you too much food colored rice. This place really need some serious inspection, but the town itself wouldn't care, it is a small town.Vegetarian options: I seem to recall there wasn't any vegetarian options, plus it wouldn't be vegetarian i bet they would cook with the same appliances and utensils for the omnivore eaters. Another thing is you will find a cockroach or some kind of bug in your food and it may be really hidden, because of the amount of food they feed you and you mindlessly just eat without thinking where the food came from. Even if they do have a vegetarian option it would be unsanitary, so please go somewhere else unless you would like to change to being an omnivore again.Kid-friendliness: Do not bring your children here, if they want chinese food bring them somewhere else but here and where its clean.Parking: Terrible parkingWheelchair accessibility: Terrible only one disabled person parking space and it isn't even that accessible.

The eggrolls are the best eggrolls ever made. On Earth. I haven't had the other food but when I pass through town I always order eggrolls for the family. They are always a hit with the family. Maybe Saluda, SC should be the eggroll capital of the world.

This is one of the Jewels of the small town of saluda. Family owned, fast & everything is well cooked. Being coming here since high school! So that just tells you this small restaurant being here for a minute.

Very quick, ordered take out, ready for pick up in 20 minutes. Dishes ordered were different than what we normally get and not what we're use to. Food was good. Will try other dishes next time.
