Besides the leaking toilet roaches, mouse that obviously has been there a while room was great. Not hardly only good things about this place was fact I left without bed bugs an the nice woman at the desk. Room was disgusting upon arrival, an it just got worse. Do yourself a favor an find a room somewhere else.If your committed to donate your deposit an dying to just get that uncomfortable nights sleep. Steer clear of this place

Room was horrible. Roaches in the fridge and microwave alive and dead. Spiders crawling everywhere. Trash was everywhere in the hallways in big bags and lots of story cats everywhere. Had to call the local police because the guy at the front desk was very non chalant and didn't not care about our concerns. They also charged a &100.00 Deposit and tried to keep it. This place needs to be shut down by the health department. Total health hazard.

Never book here again talk about horrible customer service and they kept $50 of my deposit all because I wanted a double room when it was only a $4 difference to get a double room. Horrible customer service. No need for me to even get into the level of cleaning this place did not carry!

Thank God we're only staying here one night on our way back home. I believe my attached photos describe what kind of place this is. I would have changed hotels but it was too late in the evening for that. I am expecting a full refund.

Unclean, Roaches, Roaches, unprofessional. Uncovered outlet. Smoke free room with out fire alarm. No handicap options. Look rundown and abandoned. Dead bugs on floor and live Roaches crawling around. Bug crawled up my Ma leg. Not worth $106. No manger on site. Wouldn't give me my money back. Don't waste your money or time. Choose another hotel. If I could give negative stars I would. Worst experience ever! Be warned ⚠️ Reaching out to Choice Hotel I feel like nothing is being done with that either. Talking about points.... I want my money back and something for the inconvenience. Don't recommend... The one time I try something different than my usual. ... I will be reporting all of this!

Pulled in late at night, solo trip, no reservation. Very accommodating, good value. Took a $100 room deposit but the charge was promptly refunded within days. I felt safe being there alone, nice room.

Great value for the price point!! Extremely clean room. Beds were very comfortable. Nice clean pool. Very quiet. A real hidden gem. The front desk clerks were extremely helpful and professional. Beautiful renovated lobby area.

I stayed one night. It was late, and I had limited time to rest. The room was great! Some of the furniture was positioned off of the wall. I presumed that someone had painted recently. No smells, so it didn't prevent me sleeping!

The staff was very friendly. If I had more time, I would have walked their parking and building. It looked like it would have safe.

While travelling to Florida, my wife, dog and I where getting tired and stopped in Santee to find a hotel. We pulled up to the Quality Inn and Suites and I walked in to the lobby to book a room. I asked the clerk for a dog friendly king bed room. He asked if I had a reservation. I said no I just wanted a room. I also indicated that I was a Choice Hotels member. At this mention he went into a rant about he could not add my number to the room and if I wanted points added to the bill I would have to book online. Being tired I went back to the car and using my phone I made a reservation. Unfortunately, I assumed the date would be the day I was making the reservation but it turned out to be for the next day. I did not realize this and when I went back into reception, the clerk said he could not find my reservation, even though I had a reservation number. I then said I had enough and wanted to cancel the reservation and have the charge canceled. Again he said he could not do this and I would have to call the next day to speak to the manager. I am now disputing the charge with my credit card company. I highly recommend to stay away from this hotel due to rude, uncaring, incompetent front desk personal.
There are many other great hotels in Santee that will appreciate your business.

This is a reply to the Owners reply to my post. Please have staff that don't lie. When I asked for a room, I said I would like to add my Choice Hotel rewards number to the bill. I NEVER asked to use my reward popints for the night. I specifically said I will pay for the room. He insisted he could not add my points card to the bill. I travel fro work and stay at many different chains but have never encountered such an incompetent desk clerk who would sooner play on his phone then check me in.

Had a genuinely pleasant stay. The front desk clerk Charlie was particularly kind and helpful. It is an older building with the typical problems that running a business like that entails. But it's quiet, walking distance to the center of town but tucked out of the way so it still feels private. The room was clean and comfortable and the staff was kind and respectful. That being said this also isn't the Radisson and they're not going to put up with disrespectful attitude.
