We stayed here on our trip to Tallahassee and then back the following week. Our first visit to the restaurant was amazing. On our trip back, we had breakfast in the dining room (March 29) and received very poor service from our waiter. The other waiter in the dining room was servicing his tables very efficiently and pleasurably. Our waiter would disappear until another party was seated at 1 of his tables. Loved our choice for dinner while traveling in our RV. Gorgeous historic Inn & great Southern hospitality. Beautifully decorated. Fried chicken and shrimp & corn chowder were excellent. The steak wasn’t outstanding (hence the 4 stars). The apple crisp was average. Cocktails were great and very reasonably priced.(Missed the absence of a specialty cocktail list for some inspiration but the bartender did just fine…)The addition of a nice bread basket with some cornbread or such...read full review
