“After seeing the reviews, I was a little hesitant. We arrived in to town on a Friday night and decided we better make reservations just in case. Good thing we did because it filled fast. My husband opted for chicken parmigiana which came with a salad which he said was really good. I had prime rib which also came with a choice of baked or sweet potato and a salad. It was delicious, cooked perfectly, and tender. The wait staff was on top of everything. From bussing tables, providing service and delivering food- it was top notch.“
“We loved our stay at Clark’s Inn. The rooms were nice and clean. Very dog friendly. Free breakfast was also included for each morning. We ate breakfast everyday, and ate dinner one night. The food was amazing and service was spectacular. If we ever come back this way we will definitely stay here again.“
“This place was great. We got the Cream Cheese jalapeños poppers, and the corn dog bites, and they were both delicious. Our server Heather, was incredibly attentive and friendly, and the pool tables have great felt on them. I will also say, I saw a review below that they don’t welcome people of color, but during our time here(3 hours), there was a person of color at the bar having a good time the entire time, so I’m not sure what that’s about. 5/5 We’ll be back. 3/2024Parking: Parking wraps around the entire business.Kid-friendliness: Not kid friendly. “The CLARK'S INN is a local historic icon which has stood like a gem among the encroaching hustle and bustle of the "modern " world. It is an absolutely marvelous repite for anyone heading north or coming south on the I-95!I have not had the pleasure of staying here (their Bed & Breakfast stay packages look reasonable) but every chance I get I stop to stroll through their fascinating gift shop, beautiful old hallways and relish in their antique dining areas.The bar had the friendly and efficient PAM (THANKS!!!) who brought out a delicious chicken salad sandwich on a crispy ciabatta bun. This filled me up and I could only have a bit of the delicious APPLE CRISP which I finished later from my take-away box.(THANK YOU CHEF and the kitchen staff!!!)SO happy this place has survived all these years, and especially after the COVID problems. “Small ice cream shop attached to a seafood restaurant. We actually ate elsewhere and just popped in for an ice cream. They have the Hershey ice cream and about 32 flavors to pick from. This is also a gift shop as well with lots of cute gifts to purchase. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, and she patiently waited for us to decide what flavor we wanted. The small is a generous 2 scoops and the large 3. Prices were very reasonable, and they have so many flavors to pick from that it's impossible to not find at least one you want!“
“We pulled off many exits trying to find somewhere good to eat on our travel. Well this is the place! We had such a great time, that we will make sure we can hit it on the way back. Even met the Owner. Very nice man! Food and drinks were excellent! Wait staff was excellent! Prices were great! Definitely need to put this place on your list!“
“Always see messed up fight videos at WAFFLE HOUSE but we tried it, the place we wanted to go to was having employee issues and weren't open yet. (Overslept)????? So we walk into WAFFLE HOUSE and it was clean, bright and smelled like good food cooking. The waitress took our order and the food came quick. Everything was very good and we were kinda impressed given the reputation. So all in all it was very good and the price wasn't any higher than a gross McDonald's breakfast..................We would definitely try WAFFLE HOUSE again.“
“The place was packed when we sat down as our table was the last one available. The 2 waitress that were working were busting their butt's to try to get to everyone as fast as they could. They were tag teaming tables even if it was not there table. None of the workers were complaining about how busy it was and there was not a break for them in site. The food came out quick and was hot and delicious. I will say my overall experience was better than anticipated.“
“The server was the best part. Restaurant had a small brownout while we were there. Server said they've not had soup for a while. In fact, I overheard another server right off the bat tell their customers what they were out of. My wife ordered the Buffalo ranch chicken on Mac and cheese($11.49) 3 small tenders in a small bowl of Mac. Nothing like the picture, wife not impressed. The place just had a sad vibe.“
“I was visiting my boyfriend’s family and needed a break(from him, not them) so I rolled up around 45 mins before closing and you would’ve thought they had 4 more hours! The service and the extra mile was top notch! The food…Aaaahmazing! I ordered the brim (iykyk) and initially was told they were out but the server went and found some herself and Babay…it was off the chain! I’m just mad they’re closed today lolOne of the sweet ladies made me a drink and they were cool with me just chilling there, and the prices were MORE than reasonable!“
