“Best little Diner I have been to in some time.. We had the fried chicken so crispy and delicious, the Mash potatoes are homemade and very creamy. The burger are huge and fresh ground beef cook to perfection best burger we have had in a very long time. The cake choice are some wonderful. They're fresh a moist so delicious. We can wait to come back and enjoy this Diner again..“
“We ate here two nights in a row while camping next door. We were greeted and seated immediately. The menu selection is plentiful. Our server, Katy, was so pleasant, happy, and helpful that we asked for her on our second visit. The bar drinks and food were excellent. Highly recommend.“
“I was visiting my boyfriend’s family and needed a break(from him, not them) so I rolled up around 45 mins before closing and you would’ve thought they had 4 more hours! The service and the extra mile was top notch! The food…Aaaahmazing! I ordered the brim (iykyk) and initially was told they were out but the server went and found some herself and Babay…it was off the chain! I’m just mad they’re closed today lolOne of the sweet ladies made me a drink and they were cool with me just chilling there, and the prices were MORE than reasonable!“
“After seeing the reviews, I was a little hesitant. We arrived in to town on a Friday night and decided we better make reservations just in case. Good thing we did because it filled fast. My husband opted for chicken parmigiana which came with a salad which he said was really good. I had prime rib which also came with a choice of baked or sweet potato and a salad. It was delicious, cooked perfectly, and tender. The wait staff was on top of everything. From bussing tables, providing service and delivering food- it was top notch.“
“We loved our stay at Clark’s Inn. The rooms were nice and clean. Very dog friendly. Free breakfast was also included for each morning. We ate breakfast everyday, and ate dinner one night. The food was amazing and service was spectacular. If we ever come back this way we will definitely stay here again.“
“Out from out of state traveling and grabbed dinner during the Saint Patty Day event and I am so sad because I’ll probably never have the opportunity to come again, but would do it in a heartbeat. Atmosphere was great, live music was good, and the food was amazing.Only complaint would be that service was okay. For 6, food came out 2 plates at a time with 5-10 minutes until the next 2. The server completely forgot to put down one of our orders, and didn’t realize until all the food was already at the table.Food itself was very delicious, perfect for a dinner or pub appetizers.Definitely recommend if you’re looking for some good food and a fun atmosphere!“
“The CLARK'S INN is a local historic icon which has stood like a gem among the encroaching hustle and bustle of the "modern " world. It is an absolutely marvelous repite for anyone heading north or coming south on the I-95!I have not had the pleasure of staying here (their Bed & Breakfast stay packages look reasonable) but every chance I get I stop to stroll through their fascinating gift shop, beautiful old hallways and relish in their antique dining areas.The bar had the friendly and efficient PAM (THANKS!!!) who brought out a delicious chicken salad sandwich on a crispy ciabatta bun. This filled me up and I could only have a bit of the delicious APPLE CRISP which I finished later from my take-away box.(THANK YOU CHEF and the kitchen staff!!!)SO happy this place has survived all these years, and especially after the COVID problems. “This was a hidden gem right by our house! The people are really nice, good service, and good food (for the most part). My husband ordered the seafood platter and I ordered the shrimp basket. The fries were amazing, really. The fish, stuffed crab, and hush puppies were also really good! The reason for the one star off is that the shrimp were literally salad shrimp. We got a lot of them but they were tiny and a little over cooked. If you order a shrimp basket or seafood platter with shrimp, they should be large and plump. Not the case here. I’ll definitely go back because I loved the atmosphere, people, and lakefront location! But I won’t order the shrimp next time, because they are….well….shrimpy. The teaspoon is for size reference.“
“Small ice cream shop attached to a seafood restaurant. We actually ate elsewhere and just popped in for an ice cream. They have the Hershey ice cream and about 32 flavors to pick from. This is also a gift shop as well with lots of cute gifts to purchase. We were greeted as soon as we walked in, and she patiently waited for us to decide what flavor we wanted. The small is a generous 2 scoops and the large 3. Prices were very reasonable, and they have so many flavors to pick from that it's impossible to not find at least one you want!“
“Nice place on the water with an ourdoor area that looks like it must be fun in the evenings. Our first trip was 5 years ago and finally we are back. Living in Manning part time it is tough to find places we want to try more than once. We went with another couple and ordered, The Philly Cheese Steak, The Goat Island Sandwich, The Hamburg steak and the fried flounder sandwich.The fish was great and the french fries are the perfect consistency. The Hamburg steak was smothered in gravy and delicious. The Philly Steak was good. The onion rings were tasty. The only complaint was the Goat Island sandwich. This baby is listed as having Prime rib as one of the meats, well tonight it was two very thin slices of what seem like deli roast beef. So 3 out of 4 happy customers is pretty good. We would come back and I wish we had stayed for Trivia and Bingo Thursdays. Next time.Our waitstaff was very friendly and welcoming.“
“I found this place as an ad on Words with Friends and decided to give it a try. We stayed for 2 days and it was so relaxing beautiful. Everyone we dealt with were super friendly and some had been coming for years. This was for our 46th anniversary and we wouldn't have changed a thing. We also loved eating at Chrissys Diner. All the people there were so friendly. Saw some of the same people at every meal. We will definitely visit this little hideaway again. Thanks to all of those that made our trip so pleasurable.Rooms: Rooms were very clean and comfortable. Also loved the decor.Nearby activities: They rent boats and fishing stuff.Walkability: The restaurant was c a short walk.“
