Used to go on golf vacations with my dad, stayed at nearby motel, but had breakfast here quite a few times. Never heard of it (it's a chain, I eventually learned.), but I swear the mascot was a cartoon character wearing old fashioned helmet, no? Food was always simple, well prepared, and downright CHEAP, as I recall. If I ever make it back. I'll definitely have breakfast at the Huddle House for a reunion! Joe, Bronx, NY
When I walk in with the family the workers made a face (party of 9).The place only had about 3 people in total before we got there. The waitress was mad and when we ask for a cup to go instead so they didn’t have to wash them she got mad went to another coworker and mumble something about us requesting a cup to go. They did not have air conditioning so it was hot in there. Over all the food was good. They just need to change the atmosphere for customers to feel welcome.

I visited here Jun 29. My waitress Summer was a new hire, but she was very familiar with placing my order and was very nice, the coffee was so hot it stayed drinkable for 30 minutes. My meal was excellent and 1/3 less expensive than your competitor (WH). It was busy, but quiet which made breakfast so enjoyable. Ive found my go to Huddle House right here in Santee, SC.
