We were visiting in town and decided to try Santee Pitt out since it was near the hotel. The environment was very "hole on the wall" which usually means a diamond in the rough. Completely NOT our experience. The cook came over to take our orders. Half of the menus were missing pages. All need to be spell checked. 'Vodka' was misspelled several times and different ways? Weird. We asked if we needed to go to the bar for drinks but were told someone would come take our drink orders. It took 30 minutes for that to happen and then we waited another 30 minutes for SIMPLE drink orders while we watched others who came in AFTER us be served. When addressed with the waitress she rolled her eyes at the complaint. Very unprofessional. The cook admittedly stated they only had two fryers so orders were taking longer due to the small crowd gathering. We appreciated that. We ordered wings and fries. The wings came out unseasoned and the fries were soggy and lukewarm. I'm typing this 1 hour and 37 minutes AFTER we ordered drinks and we're JUST given a hot can of coke and a cup of ice. At this point we asked for our check so we could leave. The DJ is WAY too loud for this small space. It says lounge on the window but definitely a dive bar feel which could be charming in this little town if the service and food was better. We are in town often visiting family in the town over and won't come back here again. Oh, and here is a picture of the half a cup of a Vodka tonic that took me an hour to get.

I called this place to see ? if they our hiring and they told me that they our and they even asked me to come and fill out a application for them and I did that right away after I got ? the phone ? with them and they told me that they got me but I never got respond ? from them ever since. Plus I thank my neighbor for helping me out with finding out that they our hiring and that I did do my part and today is Saturday and I still ain't heard anything from this place yet for a job.

Food wasn't so good. I ordered the salmon bites..those were great also the Philly fries. The mac and chz was (in my opinion) too cheesy there flavor was good tho. The dirty rice has no beef or pork it was just spicy rice and the chicken wingettes were my least favorite. I asked for them to be breaded but they were naked fried wings (in which I don't like) but I took them cause I didn't want to wait another 25 mins for the remake after being g there for almost 45 mins to a hour.

I ate at Santee Pitt with a group of friends. We all enjoyed our food and had a nice time there. Oscar and his staff were very friendly. I plan on making this restaurant a regular stop during the week. Good luck, Oscar. You have a great place and I'm happy to see a new restaurant for us locals to choose from.
I came to this establishment about a month ago with my daughter and let me tell you this since that day this is my favorite restaurants in Santee. The food is awesome as well as the customer service. When I’ve had a long day at work this is where I come to get great food etc. Great job team

First time here, ordered 2 dozen wings and a fish dinner. Wings were the smallest, most over cooked wings I have ever eaten. Ate 4 and threw the rest away because they weren't even edible. The fish was undercooked and tasted terrible. First and last time I will eat here.

Horrible, the owner is a con artist. Uses people to get what he wants out of them and refuses to pay people for their work. Left two families homeless. Definitely not a place i'd ever support. The food was okay, the scene is mediocre and low budget due to the owners cheapness.

My husband and I made a 30 minute drive to try out something new and we were not disappointed. There were so many mouth watering options to choose from! Food was amazing and the staff was so welcoming! We will certainly be back!
