“A week ago I made reservations for my twins birthday, which was tonight. The service was outstanding and the food was even better. We will definitely be back again soon. Top 4 menu items for our party of 15 was definitely the blooming onions, fried mushrooms and of course the ribeyes and seafood were tit for tat. 10/10 recommended. Also, the menu prices are far within reason.”

If you are looking to try soul food for the first time or just want a delicious meal with good company I could not recommend Big Johns more”

“It's really hard to find great wontons and they have them along with teriyaki chicken on the stick, every now and then they will give us a free egg roll to try and I'll have to say that there great too!! But we seem to have run into a problem with our Sunday evening orders they have been very skimpy and the chicken was lacking in flavor like it wasn't marinated long enough.The photos are a 1 bite wonton and they are normally 3 so we will no longer be ordering on Sundays”

“Found this little gem just 3 minutes off of 95. We wanted a quick lunch but not a fast food chain. This was perfect! Nothing fancy but they had fresh and tasty food, great prices, fast and friendly service. The burgers are fantastic, not premade frozen patties, and are huge. They also offer sandwiches, hot dogs, corn dogs, seafood, and several sides. There is a walk up window for take out orders and a small dining area inside with 6 tables. The diner is very clean. One small bathroom. We will definitely be stopping again the next time we are passing through the area.”

“Today I was driving in the direction of Edna’s Kitchen and decided to stop by and treat myself to a nice snack. I ordered the onion rings and a delicious juicy REAL BEEF, burger for my nephew. I got for myself a fish sandwich and some of those REAL potatoe fries. YES, they cut real potatoes to make their fries!!! To top it all off I had their delicious ice tea. I like to have them mix it with their lemonade which is THE BEST!!! I recently relocated from New Jersey and I heard so many GREAT things about Edena’s Kitchen and their great tasting food and signature iced tea, that I am so happy I stopped by to treat my palette to this delicious, downhome, food. The place seemed to be very busy which is a good sign because the locals obviously love Edna’s Kitchen also. I give Edna’s Kitchen 10 STARS and 3 SNAPS!!!! Do yourself the favor and stop by for some food eatin. You’ll be glad you did.”
