Living just over the state line in Georgia, we traveled to Anderson SC often with my grandparents, and it has become a tradition to stop in whenever we are in SC. “Best place to eat in six mile. I know that's not saying much as there aren't a ton of places to eat, but they are great. Small menu but what they do have is really good. Id rather have a small menu and everything be good versus a huge menu and everything be subpar. Staff are always welcoming and prices are fair“
“Skins personally isn't my favorite, but they have a strong cult following. The hotdogs are tasty, and I like the warmed buns. Personally I find their chili to be a bit flavorless, but it is loved by most. Service is kind and attentive. Prices are very reasonable.“

The only reason I didn't give five stars on atmosphere is because the place is usually extremely busy and short staffed so sometimes they may not answer the phone, or have limited seating. But you can't beat the taste or value. Try a birddog. You won't regret it.“
