“We have been going here for many years and often we order the same thing depending on time of day. This time I went for dinner and order the pecan crusted chicken sandwich which I have ordered several times before. When the food came the sandwich was cut in half. I noticed that half of the sandwich had a small cut of chicken. I thought that the chicken maybe had been cut off centered. But, as I looked at the other half of the sandwich the piece of chicken was the same small size. It literally looked like a chicken tender had been cut in half and placed on the toast. It was very disappointing. We asked the waitress about it and she took it back to the kitchen. In the end they brought us 2 more sandwiches the same way. This sandwich was not worth the money.”

“I have been coming here for over 25yrs. I have seen ups and downs thru the years. I have to say that management has a handle on service and food. I am happy to rewrite my review. The service is really good and the food was done just right.( the waitress commented that my meal was going to keep someone on there toes) kristie, Ashley, and Amanda are a great team. “Popped in last night after working the car show at Yorkville Marketplace as I’d been wanting to try and support local. Immediately felt welcomed and even made some new friends sitting at the bar. Brandon & Katie the bartenders are amazing and we really enjoyed talking to them. The dunkel is 💯! We will definitely be back!”

“Daily specials that are excellent prices! Probably out the door with tax and TIP at $10 if you get just water... Ask for the spicy salsa too, and mix with regular, and it's a treat.
The place is somewhat small and usually packed, but they get you through quickly, food comes out quick and hot.

“We ate here this past Friday and we can't wait to go back! This is a very good restaurant, with great southern and seafood cooking. The bartender, I think his name was Sam was beyond exceptional! He filled us in on the vast menu and gave us a few recommendations that were on par! He made us feel like we were at home and was very attentive to our needs. Normally, when we go out to eat we have to tell our server/bartender what we need. With Sam, he was just on top of things and was on point! We will be back and back again. Thanks SoCo for coming to York County.”

“I had a classic roast beef and potato cakes and an orange cream shake. It was all fresh and wonderful. My sandwich had a lot of meat on it. The shake and potato cakes were also delicious. I bought a second classic to take home and it was good warmed up later. My truck wouldn't start so I waited in the dining room for help to come. It was nice and clean and cool in there. The booth was comfortable, not worn out. The employees were super nice. I'm glad that I had such a nice place too wait since I waited for hours.”

“This is my second time visiting Windy Hill Orchard & Cider and this time during their Fall Festival. I decided to grab a flight of their special selection of ciders. Ginger Gold and the Bourbon based cider were my favorite. Oh and let's not forget the doughnuts! Upon departure, we purchased a half dozen doughnuts and a few bottles of cider.

We were able to go apple picking which I would definitely recommend. Be sure you book your tickets in advance if you are going apple picking as slots fill-up fast.”

“I placed an online order and arrived early to pick it up. I knew there would be a little wait, so I took a seat at a corner table while waiting.

There were at least six others there either waiting for an online order or to place an order. Diamond and Mari (I may have misspelled) were both working tonight.

These two handled everything like a boss.

Diamond was very personable, friendly and fast with acknowledging everyone who came through the door.

Mari was friendly and worked hastily getting the orders set up and ready to be topped, wrapped and off with the customers.

We could all tell that both ladies were working hard to get everyone their order as quickly as possible and they did that with sacrificing quality or a high level of customer service.
