“We visited on a weekday for lunch, part of our self-proclaimed summer cafe/diner tour. The restaurant was fairly quiet with three other tables of guests. I was happy with my order. Fried mushrooms to share were wonderfully crisp on the outside, hot on the inside. Yum. The 1/2 pound mushroom swiss burger and fries were hot and tasty. My glass of tea was empty twice. I never received a second refill. My friend had to find the server for more water.
My friends had slightly different experiences with their food. One ordered a burger because it specifically came with pimento cheese. When the burger came to the table, she wondered if she ordered something else by accident as there was not any pimento cheese. When the server brought the bill, my friend inquired. The server then replied that the order was correct, but they just didn't have any pimento cheese on hand that day. Ugh!!!“
