Went for dinner this Sunday. Have been there for lunch many times. Took over half an hour to get our food due to the large number of takeout orders. The drivers were sitting around, most were poorly dressed and some had their phones on speaker mode- very rude behavior. Management should have a rule against phones on speaker mode. And drivers should wait outside till order is ready. The management may make a good profit from take outs, but it puts a huge load on the sushi chefs...

I am following up with a new review. I had a terrible first experience in May 2025(take out), and posted a review reflecting this. new staff and equipment issues contributed to the problems. The manager, Amanda, went above and beyond to correct this and make a great second impression. The second time with Chef 21 Sushi Burger in Simpsonville was GREAT! We've never a had a bad meal here. My favorite is the Spicy Jalapeño Tuna Burger with a side of seaweed salad. The sushi and appetizers are excellent as well. Highly recommended!
