Love good bbq. Found this place today random search on map app going across town. Though not usually on my way, it’s only 10 minutes from work. They gonna know me by name ‘fore long.

Our favorite place to eat as a family. Me and my toddler always share the calabash chicken plate. Always plenty of food to go around. It’s always consistent and yummy.

Found this gem while traveling. Saw smokers/grills out back smoking when I arrived. I could almost smell how good it was going to be. The Pork BBQ was smoky and delicious, and I opted for the Carolina yellow BBQ sauce, which was also very good and didn't cover up the taste of the meat. The tasty beef hash over rice brought back memories of when I lived in SC. Ribs fell off the bone and had a nice smoky flavor. Pricing was reasonable, and portions were large. Highly recommended for authentic Carolina BBQ.

We went to a tasting at Bubba's, it was some of the best food. The chicken was juicy, and we all loved that sweet potato crunch. We used them for our reception. There was some minor issues. I can say the owner Rick is very passionate about his business and his relationship in the community. We were able talk and work things out. After all who doesnt mess up in the kitchen sometimes. We will definitely be back for that sweet potato crunch.

Bubba's is one of our favorite places to eat. My favorites are Brisket, BBQ plate, Bubba's Bash. or ribs. The price here is one of the farest you'll find. You can go to the new BBQ house nearby but Bubba's is better.

This was our first time going here. Thought the bbq had a great smokey flavor. Portions were good too. We got the lunch special which was a bbq sandwich, one side, and a drink. Basically like getting your drink free. Really good deal; we'll be back.

Definitely not a low calorie meal, but the macaroni pie was reminiscent of the baked macaroni my mother used to make with the sharpest Cheddar cheese you could find and the bush puppies would have done justice to my mother in law's best.(she called them corn fritters) Sweet potato fries were the best I've ever had. Crispy outside, tender centers and with a sprinkle of something luscious and sweet. Thank you, Bubbas!

Bubba’s BBQ

Bubba’s has always been one of my favorite spots. Even though I live on the other side of town, I do not mind the 20 minute drive because the food is usually worth it. But today was a completely different experience and honestly, it left a bad taste in my mouth and not because of the food.

I pulled into the drive-thru and placed my order. The cashier asked me to hold on while they checked how long the wait would be for the car ahead of me. When she returned, I was told to park in spot one. The car behind me was sent to spot two. The car in front of me eventually received their order and left, which allowed others to move up. Another car was pulled up, then another sent to spot three. Meanwhile, I continued to wait.

I sat and watched car after car who had all ordered after me get their food and drive away. Even one of the customers looked at me through her window with a puzzled expression, like she knew I had been ahead of her in line.

I ended up waiting almost 30 minutes for a simple order: Calabash chicken, mac and cheese, and fried okra. When the food was finally brought to my car, there was no apology, and not even a thank you for waiting. Just a handoff of the bag and that was it.

This is not the kind of service I expect from a place I go out of my way to support. I understand delays happen, but communication and courtesy go a long way. A simple acknowledgment would have made a big difference. It is disappointing to feel like your time and money do not matter.
